In regards to trainer...are you looking for PT or soccer/technical trainer? If soccer/technical trainer...the 90plus team has worked with a number of girls to rebuild technical skill that are coming back from ACL...

IMO, post ACL, it's time to start looking for a different sport, unless they are going pro and making huge NIL or endorsement money.
Haters insert comments here...
My spouse just had total knee replacement, directly linked to the steady degradation of her knee after an ACL / meniscus tear as a D1 athlete 30 years ago (continued to play post op, which created follow on effects). Did everything right, but trauma is trauma and cumulative.
Sorry for the negative opinion, just being honest.

(quad graft, in case anyone needs to discuss in the future) Sorry to hear about the ACL surgery. I have went through two ACL tears (one on each leg) so I know the whole process really well. Good news is that you can totally rebound from it with rigorous physical therapy/sport specific training. The hard part is pushing your limits in a safe environment. You have to steadily push yourself to 100% in an environment that won't lead to further injury. Until you feel confident that it's time to hop back into team training. A good trainer can help with that. Let me know which location and I can send some recommendations.

I’ll second the choice in quad graft! Seen really positive results with two players in my kids age group. That’s contingent on being a good candidate and a qualified surgeon with the procedure. Good luck on the rehab, she will be stronger! Depending on location and insurance, I’ve heard Travis at Atlanta Rehab is excellent.

Did everything right, but trauma is trauma and cumulative. Sorry for the negative opinion, just being honest. Ortho surgeon here. The arthritis associated with ACLs is mostly from the initial injury. Trauma is trauma but it takes a decade or more for the cartilage to die and the arthritis to set in. Then it can take longer for the need for arthritis. The statistics of arthritis after ACL is 50% of those who get the reconstruction and 90% of those don’t have the surgery. And surgery 30 years ago was not as effective as it is now.
