Hi! Can anyone provide some general scoop about boys Ambush and Santos, pros/cons current team tiers boys 2010, levels in top and 2nd team, still only just SCCL Champions factor, etc. May check them out.  My boy will be U15 next year and will play for his high school in Spring for the 1st time. Thank you! |

I have a 2011 boy at Ambush, but have been with the club for a decade between all kids and have been a TM for half the time so pretty familiar with the club atmosphere and coaches. Top team coach Matt and 2nd team Coach Juan Carlos are both great, well respected abd very well liked by the kids and parents. As mamadona said, top team is sitting in 2nd right now and 2nd team is in 3rd in sccl p2. I love the club, great doc, family feel, they truly care about the players. Some amazing coaches. Since adding SCCL/NPL, they have picked up some depth, hitting 4 teams in a lot of age groups where they weren't before, and at least on the boys side that I'm familiar with, have placed very well in the rankings. Definitely hit up the coaches to attend a practice if you would like!

Does anyone know how is the level overall of that 2010 boys NPL/SAPL league?
They dont supplement with SSCL it seems?

For the bigger clubs this is normally their 3rd team or the top team from the younger age group. For non ECNL/MLS next clubs I believe they put their top teams in this and its above SCCL. |

TY! So it seems only 8 teams? Is that normal? Is the promo or relegation in this league? Don’t know for sure so others can correct me but I believe for boys Ambush top team is in NPL with no pro/rel while Santos top team is in SCCL which does have pro/rel. Not sure if it varies by age though. |
