Makes sense. Ufa always has drama and Alan being back for another year could rub some the wrong way. Gsa always has drama and AFU has been very good lately about recruiting them over. Especially if Gsa has a couple on to bench who think they deserve to start. And Eddie with Platinum at CF is always a toss up, either love him or hate him.
My bet is a lot of talk but no many put their money where their mouth is.

2011G Premier Team that won the Southeastern ECNL Conference is going from UFA to Concorde Fire and most of the UFA players will be playing for Concorde Fire Platinum for 2024-25 season. ECNL players from 2023-24 Fire team will need to find some place else to play. next weeks tryouts are meaningless since team is already settled and offers are out.

I keep seeing the UFA 2011G's , but has anyone heard what's happening with the 2009G team (Gil's team)? I heard a bunch of them were wanting to come with him to CF as well. I know I'm hijacking the this thread for just a sec, but wanted to see if they also might have insight if the know about the 2011's.

At CF's Girls U14 ECNL/RL tryouts, a previous 2011 coach who was reported by multiple parents to CF's leadership for his lack of tactical knowledge, inability to recognize/capitalize players' strengths, verbal harassment of players, and overall unprofessional behavior was seemingly part of the evaluation process. It was wrongly assumed among players and parents that he had been let go from the club. Given the substantiated, reported complaints and the fact that he is not coaching 2011s at any level next year, it is baffling that he would be included in the process. To clarify, this is not a "sour grapes" post but merely fact sharing to provide a transparent picture of who was on the field along with the confirmed coaches for this level/age.
