Anyone have any insider info on who will be coaching the top 2012 teams for 2024/2025? Who is staying? Who is leaving? Specifically interested in GSA, Top Hat and UFA.

I was told Gil & Alen Woods are headed to Concorde Wow...that would be huge news on Gil if true. Who does Woods currently coach at UFA and who would he coach at Concorde?

Woods has an extremely good 2011 ECNL team that he expects to go to Concorde with him and replace one of the existing Concorde teams and I believe a 2014 team.

“Replace”? That’s an interesting statement.

Ashamed? Parents have already been made aware. Not sure why people on a discussion forum thread about atlanta area coaches should be ashamed to discuss this. When the top 2009 and 2011 teams leave one place and head to another, a lot will be disrupted. I don't think that is a shameful topic of discussion.

And have the Concorde kids that are getting “replaced” been made aware? Confirmed info like this, not baseless rumors, is the only thing many parents and kids have to help take some of the power and decision making back to make more informed decisions.

Lets word it a different way. Alan is becoming an ECNL coach for the 2011 age group at Concorde. He has a really good team now so if the players follow him then he'll most likely keep them. I imagine it will be hard to get 17-18 kids and parents to change clubs especially when they're not down the road from each other but that's how it was communicated. As soccer1320 stated, the parents were already told so there is no shame.

It isn't that far down the road if they run the teams out of Concorde North....probably only 15-20 min from UFA

I hate to say this but Concorde is not known for informing people about their coaching line up even a few days prior to tryouts. They rarely post it like the other clubs do. The only thing that is shameful is Concorde’s lack of communication, not parents informing people of a highly likely coaching change. As for the term “replace” I think that is a bit of an overstatement. There will be players who move with them and those that won’t. There will be players that are not as good as the ones already at Concorde. Alan and Gil probably know who they want from Concorde and who they don’t want and the same goes for their current teams. I doubt every player that they want to keep will go with them. It is not close.

If Alan is bringing his Ufa 2011s to concorde that will cause quite the shakeup. Ufa is currently first place in the SE. Concorde Plat is 8th and Premier (out of Columbus) is 11th. Eddie with Platinum isn’t going anywhere and Eric with Premier is the head guy at South so doubt he wants his team to drop to RL.

Both outside of the playoffs. So I wouldn't be surprised to see coaching moves made with their current coach in central

That would seem to be a massive coup and something kids and parents would want to know before showing up the first night of tryouts.
