It’s been 2 years since the last uniform changes. Is anyone set to get new uniforms this year?

I would assume they will switch to the striped white/red and the away kits being the light blue, but who knows. No kit has been leaked yet and they already had a partnership with Capelli for uniforms so it will be interesting to see what they do there.

Don't away uniforms have to be a dark color? or vice versa on which is which depending on what league you play in. Recreation still tends to be Dark(Home) and Light(Away), but SCCL and most other Academy/Select leagues tends to be the opposite, along with most tournaments being flip flopped depending on the tournament.

Before the Brentford/Swarm announcement, SSA had a 3rd black kit which was supposedly staying for 2024-25. I suppose it is possible it will still stay. But, I doubt that since it has the Chelsea/Lion crest and design on it. More likely, they will piss the parents off again by adding a new mandatory 3rd kit.

Nah they won't do that, but I don't think they will use the black kit, which in my opinion was the nicest looking club soccer kit I had seen in quite a long time. I don't think it was the Chelsea Lion as much as the SSA Lion. They redesigned the logo not long ago when the Chelsea partnership ended which they didn't really announce that it had ended, but one can assume it did based on the redesign and the lack of usage of the Chelsea logo. My opinion is they will do what they did the last 2 years. Require the 2 kits this year (as it is a new 2 year cycle) and do a tournament 3rd kit the fall of 2025 and let that stay 25-26 and 26-27. Sad that black kit won't see the light of day but for 1 year though.

I think coaches were supposed to force their teams to buy it. I don't know we left SSA for my kid's last season, so we didn't get the opportunity to see how they did it. I know his old team all bought it and wore it a lot. They were pretty much forced to. When he guest played with them a few weekends ago he had to borrow one from a kid that wasn't playing to have one to wear. So if they introduce a 3rd kit the fall of 2025 don't expect to get away with not buying next time.

So does SSA pay Brentford or does Brentford pay SSA for this relationship? Wonder why SSA is no longer wearing the Chelsea colors.

So does SSA pay Brentford or does Brentford pay SSA for this relationship? Wonder why SSA is no longer wearing the Chelsea colors. As I said previously the Chelsea logos mixed in with SSA Logo and the talk of Chelsea and Yokohama(Chelsea's old sponsor) all went away a few years ago when they changed the SSA logo. They didn't make a big deal about not using Chelsea anymore, but I assume at that point that partnership had ended. I assume they have been looking for a new partnership since that happened. I don't think anything was "the reason" or nothing sensational happened for them to part ways. Like all things it probably comes down to money. As a referee I'm kind of happy, I'll be able to use my yellow referee jersey more now!

Neither of which is intended to suggest I was in any way in favor of them.

Yes I know they were required, but sometimes "required" doesn't really mean required if you have the right coach etc..., believe me I know having been Team Manager for as long as I was, sometimes people got away with not buying "required" stuff. That being said, yes the jersey was one of the best and unique ones I had seen in a long time.

Hope CF goes back to black and white. I've been told girls don't like white uniforms, especially shorts.

Hope CF goes back to black and white. I've been told girls don't like white uniforms, especially shorts. Girls definitely hate white shorts. My daughter doesn't mind the white jersey, but wishes she never had to wear a pair of white shorts again. Concorde will most likely have the same uniforms as AFU. The only difference will most likely be the AFU third kit, which will be white/light blue (the shorts are light blue).

My oldest once forgot that the underwear she was wearing was teal and it poured that game. The shorts were plastered to the girls. She was so embarrassed.

Concorde going with an all black and all red kit for all teams and a 3rd all grey kit for ECNL/RL teams. It’s like they don’t understand this is Ga and every club should have a white jersey white sock kit. Plus yet another club in Red, this makes 7 by my count just in Atlanta.
