From Iggy-“I’m hiring. Know of anyone who might be interested?” Reduce the number of levels of teams for each age group and he would have enough coaches. The 8-10 level teams are rec level players and parents should not be paying over $1000 a year to play. I know a handful of players that moved to academy because there were not enough players/commitment for the rec program and still ran into the same lack of commitment for $1,200 more.

I'm surprised they haven't announced their Forsyth North Coaches yet

From Iggy-“I’m hiring. Know of anyone who might be interested?” In the last couple of weeks, I've heard of way too many players thinking of leaving UFA. I'm curious is that the effect of coaches like Alan and Gil leaving; the lingering issues with James still being around; or the normal cycle of changes that occurs with most clubs over time? I am honestly asking and for those that may think I have an agenda, my kids were developed through the UFA system so I'm a bit of a UFA loyalist...

From the people that I have talked to (probably a very different cross section than you, mostly 2010's-2014's) its coaching/coaching commitment and level of play (see comment above). I have friends whose child's coach has missed half of their games due to other commitments. I also am hearing what I have always heard if you are below black (and sometimes even black), its a crap shoot with the quality of coach. Next year at the main Forsyth location alone they have 71 boys teams and 41 girls teams projected. That doesn't include Forsyth North, Mountains, and Nocross which aren't that far away. That is over 50 coaches that want to coach there. I also think the points you noted are impacting the older ages, and girls more specifically, but this is what I'm hearing at the younger ages. With that said my son is probably headed to UFA next year.

Why would anyone want to go work for or be part of a club that the owner supports predators?

I wonder if any are leaving because they don't like NPL much. In my opinion they should have just kept the third teams in SCCL-C.

UFA is a good club but yes most of the G2011 team has already committed to Concorde Fire with Alan so the Fire Platinum players from last season are going to left out because there are not enough openings to accommodate them.

If you think the new coach won’t take the top players, possibly the top half of BOTH of last year’s teams - you’re cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs.

Hey Cuckoo, All the UFA G2011 ECNL championship team players from 2023-2024 have been offered places on the Concorde Fire Platinum Team for 2024-2025. That is a known fact. Not all have accepted but all were offered. You and the Platinum players from last year just do not understand what is going on. Unfortunately for some of the 13yo girls are going to be left out because the coach bought many of the players he knows before even evaluating the Fire ECNL Platinum players.

Hey Cuckoo again!
All of the UFA G2011 Premier team that won the Southeast ECNL League this past season have been offered positions on the Concorde Fire Platinum team for 2024-2025. THAT IS A FACT! Not all have accepted but all have been offered. That means there are a limited number of openings for Concorde Fire ECNL Platinum team holdovers and you and the other parents of that team need to understand that going into tryouts tomorrow night. Some 13yo girls will be left out and won't know it until after everyone has had tryouts.

I would assume the coach would take whoever the best players are from both teams. That current UFA team is the top team in their region. The Concorde platinum team is a far off 6th in the region. If I were a Concorde parent, I'd just assume if my kid wasn't a top 3-5 player on the current Concorde team, then they aren't making platinum this coming season. It's as simple to understand for concorde parents as it is unfortunate for the Concorde players
