I'm not going to call them out yet because I honestly don't know how accurate this is (info from kids). I can confirm they were a HS Coach and they DID coach the same sex this past year. Could be changing next year for all I know. Just stirring the pot at this point, I'll watch in the fall and post if true.

I don't fully understand how it works, but I read on this forum that it doesn't matter if the coach has boys @ club & girls in High School (or vice versa). If they coach anyone in club that plays at their high school, it is a no no. That doesn't exactly make sense to me, but that is how it was explained on this forum during high school season. Additionally, I was under the impression this rule only applies to Community Coaches. Maybe I'm wrong, but if the coach is an actual school employee (teacher or administrator) this rule doesn't apply to them. I was asking boys side or girls side because I might be able to dispel the rumor. If you don't want to post it here and want to DM me, feel free.

Again I am not sure why you throw GSA under the bus if you don't know. www.ghsa.net/reminder-soccer-coaching-restrictions

Wow, relax people. Isn't that what this forum is for? Fun and gossip?
I did not throw GSA under the bus, I'm referring to a specific coach and wondering if he knows the rules. Son has friends on the team and they are the ones that mentioned it.
I will refrain from "gossiping" in the future since it offends so many......
