Maybe some club coaches and directors care, and sure - the players care in the moment. But at the end of the day, youth Nat'l Championships don't matter to college coaches. So the goal should be to provide opportunities for as many players as possible to advance themselves and get to where they want to be on the next level.
I don't think college coaches will care about a National Championship overall. However, with dozens of teams to watch in a day, sure they will optimize their time to watch the most relevant games. Now, what would be considered relevant in their mind? Should I go watch a club that is consistent, year over year, sending multiple age groups to playoffs and performing well? Or should I go watch a game with teams that bring 1, 2, 3 age groups and doesn't perform well? At the end of the day most Georgia Clubs are in catch up mode when compared to the National scene. When you look on the boys' side the outcomes, if I am a college coach, I will think twice to watch a Georgia team, with a few, really few Club exceptions. And for college recruiting, I am sure college coaches are scouting the last two age groups, the ones that really matter for them.
On the boys side, if you take a picture of their performance in 2024 for the National Playoffs, here is the results per club:
