Has anyone else gotten game dates & opponents for ECNL and/or ECRL for the fall that include games over Labor Day weekend, specifically on the girls side? I didn't think they traditionally played games that weekend- they definitely haven't over the past few years- but this year our preliminary schedule has games both Saturday & Sunday. Seems odd to me, and I was honestly wondering if they got the weekends confused since Labor Day weekend is earlier than normal this year (the Saturday of Labor Day weekend is still in August, on 8/31)! Always liked having no soccer over Labor Day, and hope they reconsider- especially since my kid also has no games currently scheduled the following weekend, which would be much easier.

When you sign up for alphabet soccer, you forfeit all rights to any weekends. No more family reunions, Grandma's 90th birthday, cousin's weddings, parent's funeral or siblings graduations. Vacation? Forget it. If you don't attend the umpteenth meaningless showcase, immediate benching and probable drop to another level at try outs (unless of course you're the favorite).

It's all a scam people!

Looks like the season starts the weekend before on August 24th.

ECNL typically always had Labor Day weekend games as it was easier to travel so not sure when that changed. NASA Boys don’t have that weekend but we also have three games in August which I just understand why they need to start so early when we’ll be playing through December.

Girls I believe played Columbus Day weekend last year which I know was awful so they may have swapped those weekends.
