I’m a parent of a kid that says they want to be a pro too but is still younger than you. I’m not a coach and just an involved parent. That said I watch a lot and listen a lot so take the free advice for what it’s worth and keep it up because you can play.
Size and speed are clearly not an issue as you have both. Competition seems to be your issue. I know our west coast friend will say how great mls next is everywhere else but the fact is it trails ECNL here by a lot on a week to week basis. Not sure of how standings ended up for your league but how were your highlights in the games versus AU and to a lesser extent SSA and maybe LSA? I know it’s probably too late for this year but you have some ECNL clubs close that will help push you to AU if it will help both of you.

On your opening slide, add your name, club & coach's name. Also, I had to figure out who I was looking for... You should add a freeze frame with a star, arrow or circle, etc. to point out which player you want to people to watch. More so, being brave enough to ask for feedback. Easy fixes to the video are put your best plays right at the beginning of the video and include the arrows to show where you are. I would reduce the number of played positions in the opening slide to 1 or 2 max. This makes it easier for potential scouts/coaches to know exactly where you would fit in. Show yourself playing 90% that position in the video at a high level. Excited to see what the next one looks like. |
