Our division has 9 teams so I expected 8 games but there are 10! We play 2 of the teams twice. How does that work? It's kinda unfair if a team happens to play some good teams twice.

Yeah I think so. Our team doesn't play the strongest teams twice but I just thought it is a weird setup, and I feel bad for those who do.
