Wow. Not pretty soccer, but Arkansas just tied it up at 1-1 with 1:48 left.
Georgia's style of play ain't pretty!!
they have a few girls that refuse to pass.
Overtime!

Georgia has some players for sure. Some selfish ones. Stunned at their in ability to put passess together. Lots of booting the ball. Their forward is pretty nasty though, from the Atlanta area. Great skills on the ball and can fly.
But that being said - game went to pks. Georgia brought in back up keeper who hasn't played a minute all season. Freshman. She saved 2 pks. Georgia had a 6th year season take the last kick, hit it right down the middle for the win Dawgs won.

They have no center backs right now. Commentators kept mentioning on it. But look, the coach has to get players ready to go. They were all over the place back there. It is a testament to the mediocrity of Arkansas that they made essentially no impact on Georgia goal except for a shot from 35 yards in last 2 minutes of regulation. Can you imagine what the average ACC or PAC-12 team would do to them? Good gracious.
Gabby Seiler is a great player. Crowder is very good, Eddy is also very good. I like Garcia as well. They have some bruisers in midfield. I am going to give Seiler the benefit of the doubt and assume the coach tells her to not pass. Must be fun for her. Not so much fun for everyone else. They claim to be a possession side. I have seen a few games against bad teams where they indeed try to possess the ball; otherwise they play mindlessly direct. Last night it was humorous watching them try to clear a ball (poorly) and not care about keeping possession. That is what led to the Arkansas goal. This game last night probably sealed their fate. Only chance is to beat aTm, which is not going to happen. Another year of no NCAA tournament I would guess. As much as I would like to see them succeed, I would vote for no NCAA pain now if it caused a change in coaching staff. If your daughter was an elite player, would you want her to play for this team?

yea, think they said eddy is 23 years old? she looked like a women amongst girls. did gabby play at concorde with savanah jordan? can't imagine the 2 of them on the same field together, wow. yea, she's not much for passing the ball, even my 8 year old was screaming at the TV.
we were watching and couldn't believe the in ability to put 3 passes together and the defender Josie roebuck didn't seem like a quality player at all. lots of just banging the ball. yes they play hard, but yikes, i was expecting much better than that.
you hit the nail on the head to with Arkansas, and it made me wonder what the "he**" do they do at training all week. i'm sure there team is full of all world players also.
