Now that the last showcase is over, we need to get to work on carving out some of the shots to send to college coaches and recruiters. Daughter has normally only played forward (what would you recommend carving out for that spot besides goals?) but has been playing a good bit of right and left back this year. I've never really looked at what we should be highlighting when she plays that position so any guidance and advice would be much appreciated.
Gives us a project over the TG break!

Any 1v1 defending should be highlighted. Times she rotates into the middle to help cover when the ball is on the other side of the field, as well as times she recovers to help stop counter attacks. Overlapping runs down the wing should be highlighted. Also, try to include her distribution from the back to help show that she understands how it is done, as opposed to just kicking the ball up the field blindly.
Videos for defenders typically aren't as flashy as those for wingers or forwards. Additionally, college coaches typically look for consistency over multiple videos from defenders (this came directly out of the mouths of 2 D1 coaches at an ID Camp we attended).
