It's the final weekend for a lot of teams. We've been lucky with very few rainouts and it looks like a great weather weekend! Here are my U14 girls picks:
Athena A
Saturday
Norcross 2 - CF Elite 1 - These two are close in the standings. This one's a tough call. CF Elite was outscored 15-0 in their last two games. Hopefully they'll bounce back this weekend.
UFA 3 - Chiefs 0 - UFA pounded CF Elite last weekend. Chiefs did well to tie against Norcross but they weren't able to handle SSA. With two weaker teams left to play, my guess is that UFA will move into third place. Roswell and SSA will have to wait until next weekend to decide where they'll finish in the standings.
TH 5 - GSA 0 - Two easier opponents in TH's last games ought to give them the #1 spot.
Sunday
CF Elite 2 - NASA Premier 1 - NASA Premier moved up the standings with two wins in a row but has had a few weeks off since then. Hopefully they can keep up the momentum.

UFA 2 - SSA 1 - These two are pretty close in the standings.
AFU 1 - NASA 1 - AFU had a very good win against Inter. NASA has kept the top teams close.
Inter - MAYS - Inter surprised me with a loss last weekend. They should still be ok to at least tie for first (possibly a 3-way tie). We'll see if MAYS can stop them.
TH White 2 - AFC 0 - A win here by TH might be enough to keep them in B. AFC has had a few close games but it looks like they're moving down for the spring.
TSC 1 - TH Navy 2 - TSC picked up their first win last weekend. TH is coming off two losses but should be able to win this one.
Sunday
SAF 3 - SSA 0 - SAF has scored a lot of goals. They should move closer to a first place tie with this game.
Ambush 3 - MAYS 1 - MAYS will have a respectable finish after moving up from C. This will be a tough one though.

SSA - DSC - This SSA team has had some close games against the stronger teams in the division.
GSA 2 - NASA 0 - NASA's results have been a little inconsistent. They lost to the weakest team in the division but tied a couple of the strongest. Although in the bottom half of the standings, GSA has played every team close.
Fury 0 - RYSA 3 - Fury and Rome look likely to move down to D assuming two are moved. RYSA should be able to pick up the win here.
CF North 1 - Norcross 1 - This should be a pretty close game. Both teams have scored and given up around the same number of goals.
Savannah 3 - Dawson 2 - This is the game of the weekend in C. Savannah had a couple very close games last weekend but managed two wins. Dawson squeaked out a win against CF North last weekend.

GSA 1 - SSA 0 - SSA has had some close games against the top teams but only managed a tie against a weaker team last weekend.
RYSA 2 - CF North 1 - This should be a good game. RYSA has a forward who has a pretty quick burst of speed. RYSA hasn't reported goal scorers so I'm not sure how she's doing this season.

. I have a child in one of the three divisions so I see all the teams in that division. We have some friends in the other two divisions so occasionally I catch a game in those. Mostly I look at the stats.
