Any SSA folks on here that can explain their team names verse strength of team?
I see Mundial and Predator, Blue and Black? What does the name mean for the team? Is Predator top? If so, Black better than Blue? I have attempted to look at SIC, but some Blue teams are higher that Black, and vice versa.

Just for a quick response:
1. Predator 2. Mundial 3. Copa
These are the orders for level. Blue refers to SSA central, which are usually the strongest teams. Black plays out of Kennesaw and also have some strong teams. The rest of the colors refer to other locations.

And don't forget the Elite designation used for the equivalent of SSA all star teams. They are supposed to be teams formed of best of best in SSA system. They would be above Predator in designation.
Also assume you Adidas shoe fans get the labels.

The SSA Way...interesting and very informative! Looking at their upcoming tournament with brackets predator being top, mundial 2nd, and copa 3rd. I am curious on why a predator team would be in the copa-3rd bracket. Shouldn't that team be in the predator or mundial the least?

Except for Elite, these are designations WITHIN club, not across all of SSA. So one member club could have weaker teams and their "Predator" team could be properly placed in the "Copa" division.

which color is ssa West? (or naming terminology) I take it that you meant the color in the name and not the color of uniforms, so here is a full list to best of my knowledge: SSA West=White SSA Central=Blue SSA North/Northwest=Black SSA Northside=Yellow SSA Roswell=Green So SSA Chelsea White Predator would be the top team in that age group from the West (Coweta/Whitlock fields) group in Academy.
