Ever played a game at TopHat? It’s an eye-opening experience as the one thing you can’t help but notice is that there are no team benches on their fields. It’s a modern day tragedy.
Imagine, for a moment, being a TopHat player. If you’re from the Buckhead area, you likely live in a house valued north of $5 million while being afforded every luxury in life. If you’re working up a sweat while practicing in your expansive backyard, just ring the bell and your maid will rush down an oversized glass of ice-cold lemonade – pink if you prefer. If you live outside of the Atlanta area and play for TopHat, then your only complaint is likely that the private airport isn’t a little closer to the fields.
So imagine, if you will, the horror of having to play on TopHat’s fields without being afforded the basic necessity of a team bench.
TopHat needs your help!
This holiday season a TopHat Board Member will be standing at the field entrance ringing the Salvation Army bell. However, unlike donating to Salvation Army – where you have no idea where your money ends up or how it is spent - your donation to TopHat will be spent on top quality team benches for each field. Please – don’t allow TopHat’s players to go another day without enjoying every luxury in life. How dare they be denied the very things that middle class soccer players in suburban Atlanta selfishly get to enjoy without a second thought as to how it was provided.
Don’t be fooled, my gentle reader: Your donation will make that difference needed for a TopHat player to realize a completely fulfilled life.
