as expected the rain came in almost exactly when they thought it would.
anyone still get to play today?
tough luck for sure, i think UFA has had to cancel most of their sunday games for their past 2 UFA spring tourneys and not this fall classic.

Challenger canceled all games at 6am and said they'd contact teams to disburse refunds after thanksgiving. It sucks because our boys were playing so great yesterday.
Just a random question, when do tournaments switch from having a Friday night / 2 Saturday games or 3 saturday games for this current 2 Sat / 1 Sunday format?

CESA in Greenville ended up cancelling the finals for their tourney but the third games did get played in downpours and ponding fields on Sunday. The team my daughter was playing had a great shot on goal....then hit the moat in front and just stopped. Funny to see girls dribbling down the field only to have the ball hit a huge puddle and they kept going but the ball was stuck in the puddle. Glad that no one (that I know of) got injured as it's quite possible on those wet fields.

Our third game in Greenville was cancelled 5 minutes before start. Luckily none of us were out the cars yet. They never should have started. Glad we got home safe.

We attended the James Island Tournament...I wish we had not played, but they decided to play the championships based on Saturday results at 8 and 9 am on Sunday morning...I appreciate the attempt, but it was miserable. 8am + cold + monsoon + nasty fields = sucks!

At least you got them in! I use to love those games growing up. One in particular back at the old Athens tournament.

I loved playing in them as well, but I sure hate coaching and watching games in that weather!
