Virginia plays A&M and FSU plays Stanford. I think it will be Virginia and FSU in the final, although I would love to see A&M get in the final and upset Florida State.
As my daughter gets older, I like watching college soccer more and more. A couple of years ago I hardly watched it, now I am finding games online. But then, I know or know of many of the girls playing, and it's fun watching the college careers of those from our club.

I recorded it and watched last evening. Wow that was some unattractive soccer. FSU are a bunch of thugs. I thought Virginia tried to play. Sad this is what the Women's College game, supposedly at the highest level, has become. They were some big tough women, though. I will give them credit for that. Maybe they will have rugby careers after graduation. Maybe Stoke City will recall Tony Pulis and have him manage their women's side. Then these FSU players will have somewhere to go. I am sure their coach would say I know nothing about soccer. Other people will say the same thing. Certainly true. I am a soccer idiot. That is hardly the point. I am sure the FSU coach has forgotten more than I ever knew. But that does not change the facts. It was a strategy that worked for his team. It is a strategy that kept Stoke up for years under Pulis. But it is not in the long term best interests of the game. And I don't have to watch. I doubt other people were inspired to become regular viewers of women's college soccer if they bothered to tune in.

I guess it's the American Way, Zizou. We do everything Direct and Big-from US Football to our Political Policies and war. We just don't understand finesse. I find it depressing all around.

It was hard for Virginia to play with the FSU players hacking them every time they got the ball. No doubt, it was ugly soccer. I saw better soccer watching games earlier in the tournament. I think Virginia would have played an entirely different game against a different team.

Didn't see the final. I hate to read that, but it's mostly the same with Men's college soccer. If you have one team playing ugly, both get forced into playing ugly. Such a letdown.

yea, its an ugly trend. put a monster up top and let her try to run through or around people with just physical force. lots of girls like that playing on SEC teams.
how about the fact that UVA now lost 3 games all year. all 3 to FSU all 3 scores were 1-0

unfortunatley i missed the gators/fsu game. watched as many gator games as i could. which is much easier now with the sec network and espn3.
gators play nice soccer. every now and then they get out of their game, but they knock it around very nicely. play possession and then some direct play with savannah jordan. very well coached squad. not many like them though.
