again doesn't look like this game is even watchable..... so in total maybe 500 people will see this game. just play it behind closed doors if its not going to be accessible to the average human... what a joke of a tournament.
Date: Sunday, December 14, 2014 Time: 4 p.m. (ET) TV: Band Sports Live Stream: USSoccer.com.

Think PP meant over broadcast TV, most people don't want to watch a game on a latop or tablet. Can you imagine watching the El Clasico like that?
I think the stream on US Soccer is audio only

Yea. Don't think its a video stream. When I click the link nothing seems to indicate live video.

Oh my! Well, we knew going in that the USWNT is a bit shaky on defense and against a star scorer, they would struggle. I'd say I expect more from the #1 team in the world however. They are running out of time to get their ducks in a row so to speak.

Watched the highlights. Granted it s hard to tell much from highlights when there is no flow of game to appreciate. At some point, though, you would think that a quality side would say we are going to stop the only player on the other team that can hurt us. You would think that a cracker-jack coaching staff would be ready to implement some set of Marta Rules. Maybe they are saving it for when it really matters. That is certainly possible. I suppose this is easier said than done. But these are professionals that face quality all the time. Granted, Marta is special. Maybe the USWNT did not care much about this match. Heck the entire US public, US Soccer, and the primary news outlets for sports in the US did not care about the match. I went to SI.com and ESPN.com (against my better judgement) this morning to see if I could find a story. Nothing.
From the highlights all three Brasil goals can be placed at least initially on the defense failing to close her down. On the first one, the Center Backs got split (never ever ever get split!). On the second, Cheney initially gave the ball away cheaply, and then made no effort to regain possession, and then just jogged back, until she realized Marta was on the ball. A beautiful illustration of why if you give the ball away in midfield, you should work hard to get it back. It was too late by the time Cheney decided to move.. But then the remaining USWNT players (I counted 4 that really had a chance) failed to stop Marta. The final goal was another illustration that closing her down, or maybe trying to prevent her from getting the ball in the first place, might have been a good idea. This is not Barca or Real Madrid. Brasil have exactly one player that can hurt the USWNT.
But I must say that, even though the field players are largely culpable, Solo looked slow on every single Marta goal. Hard to fault her too much on the first one, but look at her reaction time. The second was a very tough angle for Marta. And she was moving away from goal when she shot across her body. Real quality. The defender does appear to get megged. But how Solo does not do a better job of restricting that angle and getting a paw on that one is baffling, especially for the best keeper in the world. The last one is not a power shot and it is from outside the 18 and Solo gets beat near post in a very tight angle. Her reaction time looked very slow. Maybe I am wrong. I Hope So(lo). They are obviously going to need quality keeping in a few months.

just watched the highlights. all it really shows is the goals. wow. marta! 3 pretty sick goals. first goal was a beautiful ball and a great freaking run. that is tough to defend for sure. perfect ball, perfect run.
her 2nd goal, was an unreal individual effort and some of the worst defense humanly possibly by an experienced back line. krieger got abused on that last touch. both goals rampone showed her age.
goal 3 was clearly on solo, she has to make that safe. tough bounce but still.
these highlights are better. press looked pretty good in these highlights.
