I guess my next question is that if the US Team Van hadn't been driven by them during the DUI would US Soccer have suspended her? When you are driving a "company" vehicle so it's going to brand negative attention to that brand.
Her "statement" was laughable, saying it would be to srep back to take a break and decompress from the stress of the last few months. Really? All of this "stress" was self induced.

Reports are now saying that Hopes husband had a.32 blood alcohol level, that's not a typo folks, that's four times the legal limit and he was driving, reports also say Hope was hammered too.
This keeps getting worse

and even worse, one of the stories said he got pulled over because the van headlights were not on!

I have no pity for drunk drivers. Or even drunks. Maybe at 22 years of age.. But most people grow up at some point. It's past time for Hope and Jerramy.
We should all gift her an Uber ride. Responsible people don't do that shizat.

This keeps getting worse This does keep getting worse. How did they get the van? I can't believe US Soccer would let them take it because they wanted to go out for the night. How did Hope get back to her room if she was hammered? No way they would let her drive the van home. I wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't out most of the night and then neglected to tell the coach or anyone what happened. Why is Hope out with her husband drinking while at the team camp? I never would have thought this a year ago, but I am thinking Hope is done, or at the very least has lost her starting position. She is 33 and probably wouldn't have a lot of years left even if she could stay away from alcohol. I've been a fan of Hope for years, at least for what she's done on the field. I am not a fan of the way she conducts herself off the field. Too much controversy surrounds her. I just hope she gets some help. It's clear she needs it. |

Hope and her husband were the only two in the van, reports said Hope was responsible for the van and no one else could drive it, her husband is not covered by US Soccer's liability. As I mentioned in a previous post Hope did not tell Coach Ellis or US Soccer officials, they found out via TMZ the next day.

The question now is.... why would you entrust her with the US soccer van??? those two have plenty of money to acquire themselves a ride, preferably a driver since they both love to drink I can only guess that if they entrusted Hope or her husband with the van, it wasn't because they thought they were going out for a night on the town. They had to have thought they were heading somewhere other than to a bar. |
