well its time for a new contest. I want to encourage participation as much as possible and i think a great way to get folks involved is by rotating our guest moderators.
lets go back with what works - first person who starts a "hot topic", ie flaming folder, will get to be guest moderator. I'll figure out a fixed length of time, a lot depends on traffic to the forum. When ever i post a topic, i typically do it for 2 reasons:
1 - what do folks want/need or would be interesting in reading and might not need reply but rather is important/interesting information to share
2 - what would generate thought and provoke good honest discussion on soccer.
ironically our last winners thread is still alive on the first page--- the great subject of hope solo...... from SoccerMom
our hottest thread ever is from coffeedude (come back coffeedude) with 107 replies on the fall brackets.
content and quality is better over quantity, but in order to engage folks we need fresh new posts and threads!
