I like how the blue looks with the white. The jersey has some character with the lines on the shirts and stripes on the socks. If we can only get rid of the all white home jersey now.

It's better than the last versions, which were the worst ones ever. The home was boring and awful and the away was absolutely hideous. Neither one used the right colors of red and blue. Nike used an awful red and a royal blue, which is the wrong color for the United States. Why can't Nike use the correct colors that are in the flag? And don't get me started on that awful crest. The crest looks like it was designed by a beginning graphic designer using clipart from an early version of Microsoft Paint. Why on Earth U.S. Soccer still uses it is beyond me. I've never met anyone that likes it.
All the great soccer nations have a classic home jersey that reflects the nation and its heritage. Think of Brazil and Argentina's home jerseys. You see that jersey and you know exactly what nation that belongs to and you won't see Nike or Adidas messing around with those very much. But with the U.S. jersey, Nike just seems to create some new design every two years to make money. Why can't Nike and U.S. Soccer create a classic U.S. home jersey that reflects our nation's soccer heritage and let the designers save their "creativity" for the away jersey? We have made great strides in the last 20 years in soccer in this country. Why can't our crest and jerseys reflect that?
OK, I'm done. I really had to get that off my chest. Thanks for listening.
