I thought Concorde did pretty well with this tournament. The field conditions were deteriorating pretty quickly on Sunday. They managed to get 3 games in and awarded co/champions to bracket winners.
I know the GSA fields took a beating.
I think most tournament hosts are stepping up their game which is great to see. (they have to or they wont get repeat business)

I was little surprised that they didn't just play the finals at that point, but the fields were starting to take a beating. It wasn't as bad around 11, but at 8 am, it was cold with a nasty cold rain.
surprised the field changes worked out the way it did, the field 6 at Henderson actually wasn't bad. nice and flat. but way to narrow for 8v8, it was a shame, they could easily have made the fields wider. looked to be an issue with the park, because they had a fixed metal hole for the corner flags.
the new grass at ashford Dunwoody was really nice

My little ones played at Ashford Dunwoody and it was polar opposites depending on which fields you played on. The fields on the right look well maintained and very green, which was a pleasant surprise. The only negative was the duck/geese poop everywhere along with dog poop! Please people if you bring your "man's best friend" pick up after them. Teams warming up on the sides and spectators had to dodge them left and right..If you played on the left side it was brown with patches of dirt spots all over, which looked neglected. IMO the finals could of been played as there was only an on again/off again light drizzle in that area that lasted for about 2 hours in the morning.
The referees were the best that I have experienced and kudos to them!

Ashford/Dunwoody field are nice (depending on what side you are on). The brown side is open to other clubs as well and I also see some kids play pickup games so really hard to control. Looks like they totally closed one side for a few months. They look great!
I see lots of improvements on fields from Concorde. Ocee looks great as well. I also heard the secured Shakerag Park. Still lots of room for improvement but seeing progress.
