USWNT plays Norway at 2pm. You can watch on Fox Soccer1. I am hoping to see Rapinoe back in the line-up.

seem to really be playing more of a 3 -5- 2 with lloyd squeezing in more kreiger getting up the side.
norway is closing down space very quickly

Solo i think showed she is the top keeper on this team, made some huge saves.
the PK was a tough call, but it was called. Kreiger got fouled really hard in the box, but no call.
Norway missed some chances for sure, they had one gimmie inside the box and solo came up huge.
I love press, but Press was exposed from a defensive perspective. the one goal, was her not in position to defend. if press and lloyd are outside mids, any quality team will tear us apart pushing forward on the wings, they really played more of a 3-5-2. i like kreiger up the wing, but if thats your goal, put oreilly in at one of the outside mid spots, because that's her bread and butter. counting on kreiger getting forward so much, puts a lot of pressure on your D, when you know your not getting any help from your midfield. Lloyd obviously needs to be in the middle, there were times, where she was completely on the opposite side of the field.
i don't think morgan brian is ready to play center mid on whats supposed to be the #1 team in the world. she gives and receives a very nice ball, but she disappears for long periods of games. prefer to see lloyd and holiday in the middle and maybe even press in attacking central role, she clearly tucked in alot and was more productive in the middle, she is not the kind of player that gets up and down the outside.
aby wasn't much of an impact at all, but she did force some bad kicks by their keeper. norway's keeper seemed to play very high and took away some chances. she completely stoned morgan on a 1v1 at the corner of the box.

The match tomorrow is against Switzerland at noon. Again televised on Fox Soccer 1.
Sweden beat #! Germany 4-2 yesterday. Denmark beat Japan. France beat Portugal 1-0 and Brazil and China tied.
I tuned in about a half hour into the game and didn't know until half time that Carly Lloyd was on the outside.. I am not sure anyone but Jill Ellis is a fan of that. I hope we don't see Press and Lloyd on the outside this summer while Rapinoe is on the bench. But, I am beginning to think anything is possible.
