Okay I missed some big one last week...but who saw that coming? On to this weekend....
Game of the week: Lanier vs AFU...AFU sits on top of the table now and they seem to be gaining momentum but the red-hot flame of Atlanta Fire is about to be extinguished as they will quickly find themselves underwater going after the Sharks. Sharks 4-2
The other Friday night game: Ambush! Rise Up!!...DE picked up a cool 5 points last Sunday from the flat-footed UFA Elite in a shocker. Since this game is on Friday night and the 14s are off look for the mercenaries to save more Ambush skin as they would otherwise lay a goose egg against the Eagles who need to find a “Desperado” of their own to pick any points this season. Ambush 4-0
Saturday GSA vs ConCentral... GSA would do well to take a page from the DE playbook and bring in some players from the Benfica team if GSA Red hopes to avoid relegation. The big boys are off this weekend so we will see; but, if if Bruno does not send in the calvary CF is going to rock the house with another big win. CF 7-0
GFC vs Eagles...GFC is hanging tough keeping themselves out of the relegation zone and the Eagles need to install lights at the new fields at Beaver Ruin so they can win a game “One of These Nights”. GFC 2-0

Don't know what happened other than Ambush recalling some play-up kids. How they play up a full season, but can play "down" I don't know.
But I'm guessing UFA elite looked at the Ambush team record and then came out flat. Overlooked them and learned what all good teams learn at some point...
Great entertainment, DSQ.

Don't know what happened other than Ambush recalling some play-up kids. How they play up a full season, but can play "down" I don't know. With club pass, they will just roster some players (up to 3) on a lower team even if "their" team is the higher one. Then they always play with the higher team, and if there is no conflict (can only play for one team per day) and they are free, they can play for the lower team. I know clubs do this with some of their top players, and it's not in the spirit of what club pass was supposed to be. The way to stop it is to either limit the number of times you can play under club pass, or to look at which game they choose when there is a conflict. If they always choose the higher team, then they should be considered rostered on the higher team and forcibly moved in the sportsaffinity system.

As jash said, only 3 kids could be "play ups" and rostered to the U13s but play U14s most weeks. Seems hard to believe that by "recalling" no more than 3 players, they could beat UFA Elite.

And it's not just play-up in age. If they have a Classic I and a Classic II team, they can roster some of the best players on the Classic II team but only let them play there when there is no conflict. Then they club pass to the Classic I team for every single game.

Bettah late tan nevah...sorry no responses but my 'ol lady been all up in my grill 'bout pimpin out our crib.
Several key match ups this week:
Match of the Week...NASA v CF: CF have made a serious turnaround since the 0-2 start and look like the hottest team in Cl 1 right now. NASA are scoring well and are making a run of their own for the top spot. This one could tie but I'm leaning toward the offense here and giving NASA a big 5 points. NASA 1-0
SSA v AFU: Apparently SSA have bled more players who are making an impact on other teams. AFU is coming off a stinging loss to the Sharks and ready to get it back on track on this Saturday. AFU 4-1
UFA v AFC: After UFA's “deer-in-headlights” performance against Ambush 2 weeks ago they badly need to put this one in the win column. AFC won't make it easy as they have some firepower up top. I'm thinking there is going to be some goals scored in this one. UFA 6-3
Sunday: UFA Red v TSC: UFA Red picks up a huge 5 points here as TSC continues to sing the Thunder Buddy Song.
Eagles v CF: Eagles put up a season high 4 goals last week but they are going to need to “Take it to the Limit” one more time. CF 5-1
SSA v GFC: 2-2 GFC likes to tie.
AFU v NASA: Good matchup here but NASA has too much for AFU to handle. NASA 3-1

Anyone hear how NASA vs AFU ended yesterday?
DSqaure - you are underestimating SSA and overestimating NASA LOL
CF 2 - NASA 0 SSA 5 - AFU 2 SSA 2 - GFC 1 (well you were only one goal off on this one)

Yes NASA has a player who is a man child and a scoring threat against anyone. Closing him down is the key to beating these guys. I thought he would at least get one on CF. Isn't 5 goals a season high for SSA? Really did not think AFU would give up that much.

Was surprised to see the NASA U13 boys Classic 1 team fall to Concorde Elite 2-0 on 10/12. I guess Concorde has righted the ship and are rolling.

Maybe this kid is big but is he a scoring threat? Or have teams figured out how to shut him down?

A lot of teams do not add the stats accurately, or, at all. For instance who is the leading scorer for CF? I know of several errors in the scoring.
