I can only speak for our team...our girls played bad. They were just not into it at all, the wet grass didnt help but it was still no excuse. They also disallowed one of our goals for offside (which wasn't by far) at the beginning of the game. We weren't fighting as hard as the day before, they were also marking our girls very tight with at least 2 players. When you compare the scores from all the teams from Sat to Sun it doesnt make sense, but thats soccer :-) Only 2 games left and they will need to win those

The GA boys went 5-1 on the weekend. This was without the overall top team (West Pines) there.
Big weekend next week as well as SSA/UFA vs West Pines. CF/GSA vs FL Rush.
Top 3 positioning is very much in the air for the 4 GA and 2 FL teams.

Its tough especially since your opponent which is a strong team, just got beat 3-1. It was a must win game for them for sure!

JFC is supposed to be a much stronger team than Creeks but not sure what happened to us! maybe the girls figured Sunday was an easier game and they didn't go all out and it bit them in the butt! OCYS and Maitland are the weakest of the 4 FL teams so like you said on paper we should win. The girls know they have to win both games this weekend to keep their spot

I know that AFU was missing several strong players due to Super Y ODP this past weekend. That probably didn't help them. Should make for an interesting last weekend of matches.

On the face of it that sounds a little strange. The coach would let Super Y ODP trump RPL league play? Most of those players must be in other ID programs as well. Why do this ID program when you have league games? They already got to go to IMG in December, right? Maybe they know they are going to be mid-table regardless so it does not matter? Maybe the new coach is ready to change the composition of the team heading into ECNL next year? I would be a little disappointed if I was a player on that team and teammates made this choice. But maybe they had it all worked out and everyone was in favor and was supportive.

Forgot about their two players missing but even if AFU wins the next 2 games they have no chance at the top 3, they have only won 2 games so far. The way that the games will be played in Greenville you have to end up top 3 in order to play the top 3 from the North. Any of the teams listed in the top 4 still has a chance (UFA, TH, JFC, GSA) Still not completely sure what the point of the seedings are but if theyre for National League spot I would think only the top 6 (3 from N and 3 from S) are competing for that and the rest is for seedings in the fall?

I suppose AFU is more concerned with ECNL than NL/RPL long-term. Plus they probably want to keep a good relationship with Super Y as they are using that as a player recruiting tool.
