so, wasn't going to post anything, but can't keep my mouth shut.. Chalupny @ center mid? why? whats the point? I'd rather see experiment with Press at an attacking mid position. Morgan Brian should look good against a very very weak side, so lets see. Still not fan, i get preparing for the future, but just don't think she's ready against real competition.

I can only "watch" through twitter. 0-0 at the half. It seems to me that no matter what Ellis likes Brian and Chulupny. She like Lloyd on the side and she's not going to give A-Rod an opportunity to start or many minutes for that matter. After A-Rod's goal the other day, I was hoping to see her have the opportunity to start. She gets much less attention from the fans than is given to all of the other forwards. But, that goal she scored against Switzerland was impressive.

From what little I've read, the US had more opportunities. But, if Iceland had slipped a goal in, and won the US wouldn't have advanced to the championship. Instead, Sweden, with the same goal differential would have advanced having scored more goals. It was good they tied and advanced. Now they have the opportunity go up against France, a team that is playing well right now.
