They wanted credit and control. Forget about the rules differences and annual evaluations of clubs. That all could have been worked out as a collaboration when sitting down at the table, which really never occurred. ECNL should have "become" US soccer's answer for girls DA. But not everyone wanted to play ECNL, and even with it being the 2nd team in some clubs, those parents are telling me that they're spending way more than DA in travel this year.

I feel fortunate not having to pay for a lot of travel. There are 13 year old players who are taking airline flights to games in other states because it’s cheaper than driving. I just don’t see the good in traveling out of state up to 33%+ of the time.

Not hard to believe any of it ever since the bloodbath at NTHs creation nothing shocks me. I have heard GB say he Loves ECNL with my own ears. Format opportunities more freedom to do what your teams need to improve. It's also no secret GB + JH = not so great BUT GB loves GQ and other DA coaches. What ever makes more $$s is what they will stick with. TO me JH and GQ are recruiter coaches not dev coaches looking to dodge them form here on out as we navigate the f'd up waters of the GA. shark tank.

? What happens if you are in CFs DA and they drop it DA? Does the national organization place you elsewhere, hold NEW tryouts kind of a mucky extra layer of crazy ass tryouts.

You can’t convince me to travel so that the players will develop more playing out of state competition. Sorry that’s bs. How do you think the out of state teams view U14 ECNL boys NASA and CF coming in the bottom of the groups and knowing their top teams play DA? You have great teams here in GA, great players in every league, so let’s do something before it gets any worse.

Totally agree.. my daughter played U13 Athena A last fall which was the last time all the best would ever play in the same league. The top teams were: TH Platinum (Now DA) GSA Premier (Now ECNL) Concorde N Elite Concorde Central Elite (mixed into DA and ECNL teams) GA Rush (SRPL) CFC Red Stars (SRPL) AFU pre ECNL (Now ECNL) UFA Premier (Now DA) SSA (SRPL) TH Gold (Now ECNL) Was a pretty big drop off after 10 but these teams rarely if ever play each other this year, and all drive all over the place for supposedly "higher level games". However, when you look at the results all these teams are at or near the top of there new "Elite" leagues except Concorde ECNL. Biggest scam in history having these teams who are miles apart travel hundreds of miles away to play lesser teams then they played in Athena A last fall. US soccer must step in and get this under control!

So is this the new hierarchy in Georgia Soccer:
DA -- Atlanta United, Concorde Fire, UFA plus other clubs at the U12-U14 Levels ECNL (Current members are AFU, Concorde, GSA, NASA-TopHat) / National Premier League (current members are AFC Lightning, SSA, UFA) RPL/National League -- Various clubs but current teams also play in National Premier League as well. 6 club champions league -- From what I can tell, this league will consist of former RPL and Classic 1 teams from Atlanta Fire, Concorde, GSA, NASA-TopHat, SSA and UFA and I assume it will be two league, one for boys and one for boys. Classic 1 -- Whoever is left from the four leagues above it and I would guess now consisting mostly of smaller clubs and weak teams from larger clubs.

The list I heard was 5 clubs from ATL (all the ones above minus AFU) and 3 from neighboring states (I think CESA, BUSA, and another Alabama club or maybe it was Tennessee).
