In the Southeast US Club Regional you had a couple of GA Teams win their regional group:
*Concorde Central 06 Girls won Premier Final 5-0
*UFA Norcross 05 Boys SCCL won the Premier Final 3-1 (Beat another GA Team GPS Savannah in final)
*NTH 04 Boys won Super Final 3-2
*Each of these teams received an invitation to the National Cup Championship tournament in Colorado.
NTH 02 Boys SCCL lost the Premier Final 2-1
GSA 05 Girls SCCL lost their Premier final 1-0

So these US Club regionals (on the girls side)...this is where the SCCL cup winners went? Whereas NPL has a completely different championship structure? So US Club runs 3 different championship cups in the summer? ECNL, NPL and US Club Cup (with 2 divisions)?

I believe US Club will eventually bring them all under one championship for girls. I dont study the boys side. For girls they have announced starting next year that all of them will be held at the same venue but they wont cross over the teams to play each other.

I think, but might be mistaken, that (on the boys side) ECNL and NPL ultimately come together for a single national championship.

I'm not sure what the designation or leagues were on the teams we played this weekend. I did not see any ECNL or NPL in our boys age group. We played 2 academies out of North Carolina with one being more of an all star team with players from a couple of different teams. There were not supposed to guest players but maybe affiliated clubs. Played one team out of Mississippi that had players on it from Birmingham. Then played one of the GPS locations (Savannah) in the final.

USYS Southern Regional U15 Girls final will be: Ga Rush 04G vs CFC Red Star. A rematch of the state cup final, which Rush won 1-0.

What's the difference between Premier Final and Super Final? Which one is higher level? Super was rated as a tougher division than Premier. Not sure how that plays out going to Colorado, whether there will be 2 separate divisions or everyone lumped in together.

I would think regionals would have a one tiered group with winner take all per say. Why separate the teams in different tiers? DA, ECNL/NPL, US Youth Soccer Southern Regionals I don't think had different tiered groups.

NL southern regionals had grouping (A-D) and one winner at the end; no bracketing like a local tournament
