With most clubs resuming practices, or getting ready to. How many are/will be sending their kids and how many are keeping them home

We're at UFA Norcross and started Monday. It was a pretty good turnout considering a few were on vacation. Not sure how many (if any) are holding back due to the COVID concerns.

Forsyth starts today. Norcross yesterday These are the those free summer sessions from Ufa right? Without Super Y this is a rare off summer for us.

Ambush started on Monday. I'm more concerned with oppressive humidity quite frankly over the kids catching the virus from each other...

My son's U15 ECNL team at GSA started back yesterday. They split the team into two groups and they went at different times to limit number of players on the field. We had to sign a waiver. I felt okay with it. There were two players in my kids' group who didn't come, but I think they were both on vacation and it wasn't because of concerns for covid. I don't know if everyone came for the other group or not.

It's time the kids get back outside. Not sure about yours but mine have been outside. This is Georgia so the weather is decent until July.

Mine has too! Referring to soccer practice in particular. This whole closure was unnecessary and happy to see things opening up and folks being able to get back to work.

We've already had two practices cancelled due to storms- so feel like we are mid season already.

SSA is running all summer as well all the way up to team camps. I am hearing July 1st is the date that the social distancing stuff can go away as well so that they can scrimmage and have contact. I honestly think it can be done now, and I don't force my kid to isolate when he is just with his friends playing around. Kids are the most safe group of humans as far as severe illness and death goes from this virus. They have more chance dying in a car everyday than even getting severely sick from this thing much less dying. Obviously immune compromised people excluded in that.

That plan is interesting. From my understanding, the only fields they can use for training at the moment are in Lilburn as the others are still closed. In addition, I heard a rumor they were closing Lilburn in July so they can perform field maintenance to prepare for the season. So, the only training currently scheduled is for the month of June.

GSA is holding some trainings at Rabbit Hill--we are there tomorrow. They are shutting down all training for the month of July at all locations is what our coach told us, though.

Only doing Toca as well as strength and conditioning. No club summer training ... doesn't seem to help my player much.

GSA will Train until the end of June at both Lilburn and Rabbit Hill for U13 and above. Small groups until the week of June 22 (half teams), Week of June 22 and Week of June 29 will be full teams....Entire month is no contact, respecting social distancing as best as possible.
Taking July off, return to normal training the end of July.

Nope our two clubs are doing some optional stuff. The oldest has her typical summer solo training from the team but no team training dates. The other two youngers have the option to pay for summer camps/training but nothing team oriented or “free”.

Both clubs were very active through the Spring though so we weren’t expecting anything back.
