Specifically u17, U16, U18
What is your predictions for the encl girls standings.
What will the Concorde Fire Premier teams look like if a majority of those players left to go to SSA GAL.
I’m very interested in Josh’s old SSA team who has been Concorde Fire premier to see now at u17 and josh gone, how many stayed ?

Here's my pre-season predictions U16 - GSA U17 - GSA U18 - CF Plat How/Where have you "not heard good things" for the CF Premier? They haven't played anyone yet and the season hasn't started? just curious what this assertion is based off of... (don't misconstrue or read my questions out of context, I'm honestly curious)

Players talk to other players. Again, that's not based off my personal opinion that's why I prefaced my statement and yes some of them have already played other teams.

I know for those U14 and U15 teams pretty much all kids moved to Concorde Premier from SSA.

So what you are "hearing" is coming from a few random players on opposing teams? As long as it's from such a reliable source, I guess... I kid, I kid... seriously, thanks for the honesty though.

Far from it but if you'd like to run with that observation, have at it.
Your defensive posture, suggest you can answer maxx's question based upon first hand knowledge. So what are you "seeing" and "hearing" about these premier teams? What are they going to look like within the age groups?
I'm curious to hear your honest opinion.
Not a CF parent but appreciate the clubs alignments, hope they do well this season, honestly.

Some local teams start playing tonight and into this weekend so we shall see shortly how they look If the teams roll out their usual line ups. The coaches often use the preseason to experiment some. I am watching two U17 teams that I know try their center backs at holding mid and outside back and try the wingers at the 8 and 10 in training. This will especially be true in teams with several new players. I know that U17 CF teams have some new players. U17 UFA has several changes as well

No, honestly, I have connections with some of the Premier parents, and they don't know what to expect either. I also have my own kids that talk about their opponents like they know what to expect and I have to remind them each year is different, that teams, players and coaches need to gel, and there is a reason they play the games... because it's not always gonna wind up like you expect. That's why I said "I kid"... no defensive posture. I'm more curious to see how SSA does with GAL and where they would be pulling the players from to fill out those rosters.

Nike cup u17 Concorde Fire premier tourney update. My insider said about 60% josh girls still there. They played a little sloppy tonight but got a surprising competitive game from Allin 05 National League Team. Concorde Fire won 3-1 but they game was tied 1-1 at half.

My daughter is in that AllIn 05 team who played CF 05 Premiere tonight. A few observations.
1). That CF team is the biggest 05 team I’ve ever seen. I mean that as a compliment: They looked physically stronger than any 05 team I recall seeing .
2). They pass very well.
3). They communicated extremely well.
4). I was pleasantly surprised at how well we played tonight . Honestly , I thought we’d lose by 7 or so but I’d say we got as many 50/50 balls as they did in the first half . Considering we had practice three times and we have 5 néw girls , I think we played as well as we could .
5). I think their size wore us down in the second half ( again , that’s a compliment to them as they were physically strong ).
6). CF showed good sportsmanship as I don’t recall any “cheap “ shots.
I don’t know who is better between them , CF Platinum , or GSA ECNL. But we play GSA ECNL tomorrow so I guess I will see first hand and report back here 😃. We play AFC GAL Sunday. Is that the old NL team ? If so, I don’t know how much that team has changed over the years but I assume they are pretty good? If anyone knows about that tram I’d be interested in hearing your thoughts .
It’s good to finally be watching soccer again !!😃😃😃😃😃😃

It has not changed much, most of the core players the same for several years now.

Many '06 Tophat players have taken their talents to the top teams of Concorde, SSA and Roswell. This season will be super interesting to see how these former Hatters do with their new teams.
Some Concorde players are now at Tophat of course which is the typical annual rotation.

Just left the GSA ECNL vs All In 05 G game. After playing both CF ECNl Premiere and GSA it’s hard for me to say who is better. It seems GSA was a tad bit better technically while CF was physically more dominant. We lost 2-0 today and 3-1 to CF.
Both teams are really good . GSA only had 1 sub today so I’m sure they got tired in the heat.
I heard that CF vs AFC game got pretty testy today on the field next to us. Heard some yelling and a few yellow cards were handed out.

Some Concorde players are now at Tophat of course which is the typical annual rotation. My understanding is that 06 Gold lost one player to GSA but the rest are there. 06 Navy, which was an excellent team, lost a few girls to other clubs which is not surprising given their level of play. Their coach does a good job with developing teams so I would expect their team to be very strong again but it may take a few weeks. I am not aware of any of the other teams gains or loses as I only knew one girl on DPL. As always there has been a good deal of movement for many teams. It will be interesting to see how things go this season. I am not surprised that All in did well. They have some good new players from LSA. Does anyone know what happened to LSA 05? Do they even have a team anymore? They always have a small roster and have no second team to pull from. What about the All in 03 team honeybadger? Did that team break apart due to the fact that they had several seniors?

LSA 05 does show up as being in the NL with us. According to their roster it looks like they have 11 girls . I thought they had joined SCCL yet found them on our NL schedule.

Yes . Roughly half their team I think were seniors and our coach reached out to different clubs to get the 6 or so left onto rosters for their last year . I didn’t hear it directly but through a parent .
I’m glad they found places to play because those girls were incredible team players.

Not surprised that AFC Lightning- CF game got heated. AFC team works to be physical but the result is reckless fouls in my opinion. They are more concerned with being physical and “sending messages” than putting things together. My guess is that they will struggle against teams with decent technical ability and those who are not fazed by all the other stuff.

Afc lightning = dirty ball from their players down to their loud parents complaining about every call. One of the few teams that I truly despise.

So is this one particular age group or AFC girls in general?. Never watched them play but this level of derision is usually reserved for Tophat or AU… I have experienced AFC lightning in two age groups 5 years apart and both are dirty but parents yell that every time their players are contacted is a foul from the opponent but every call against their reckless players is not a foul. It is absolutely horrible.
