Atlanta United has its first of three preseason matches in Mexico on Sunday, Feb. 6 against Celaya FC. Kickoff is at 2 p.m. ET (1 p.m. local time) at Estadio Tres de Marzo at the campus of Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara. Stream the match live on Atlanta United's website at www.atlutd.com/live/Per MLS rules, the stream is only available in local broadcast territory (residents of Georgia, Alabama and parts of Tennessee). Didn’t get to see it…stream cutting out in the car. Heard 2-1 results… Anyone watch it? Thoughts?

Anyone know the local broadcast territories for all mls teams?
I've seen many links where it says for many clubs - it's a 75 mile radius around their home stadium, but for Atlanta United it's a larger territory. For example, I'm assuming the new Charlotte fC team has both North and South Carolina in their teritory?

Matt Turner, heading to the EPL this summer for the Gunners. I absolutely love the story of his journey. This guy went undrafted out of college, went on trial for the Revs, who then loaned him out to a 3rd division tea, then 2nd division and finally made it to the top division in the MLS with the Revs. Last year is named MVP of the All-Star Game and tops it off by being named the MLS Goalkeeper of the year. Oh yeah, also gets called up to play for the USMNT and is now going to one of the most storied football clubs in the world. Bravo 👏👏👏👏
Arsenal have agreed terms to sign United States international goalkeeper Matt Turner from the New England Revolution, pending the successful completion of a medical. Turner is set to join Arsenal in summer, allowing him to remain with the Revs for the start of the 2022 MLS regular season. It will also keep travel to a minimum for Turner for the remainder of World Cup qualifying.

Say it ain't so, play-offs in the Bundesliga 😨 I thought that was taboo in the ranks of the superior European Leagues who thumb their noses at this quintessential American play-off system of picking winner... www.thescore.com/deu_fed/news/2296203

When you pay the #1 team more AND they also get CL bonus dollars… things get skewed real fast. (Otherwise) Hitting the development lottery and selling a player like Haaland is the only way to gain on the top dog.

Dom's on trial.
It's interesting that Jackson Conway isn't in the conversation at all. Haven't head much about Wolf recently either

Most valuable MLS teams So, which are the most valuable MLS teams? For this, we turn to the numbers released last year, compiled by Sportico, and coming out on top was Los Angeles FC, worth a cool $860 million. Behind LAFC comes Atlanta United ($845 million) and LA Galaxy ($835 million). From there it’s a fair drop off to Seattle Sounders on $705 million and New York City on $655 million. The lowest of the teams on the available list from last year is the Colorado Rapids, coming in at $370 million. Check out the full list. en.as.com/en/2022/02/17/soccer/1645132548_537637.htmlNote: I was surprised Philly, NYRB and Inter Miami were that low...

Lifetime ban for the Mexican club. Terrible.
Very interested to see this weekends numbers Specifically - mls vs unc/Duke hoops.
I actually did watch the Charlotte fc game. My take home was LA galaxy didn’t look very good and Charlotte might not score a goal all season.

Unreal and inhumane. Lifetime ban for sure!
Makes me appreciate the warmth that we showed traveling Timbers Army fans at the Benz back when AU won the league. Talk smack and have fun but make sure THEY have fun too - there is absolutely zero justification for having to be in fear to watch a sporting event. Zero.

Concertina (aka barbed) wire visible in the video, is used to separate the fans from the pitch. Some would call that a clue.
The crowd reminds me of crowds we used to see at matches in the UK a few decades ago. Other than banning the sale of alcohol at matches, I don’t know how UK authorities stopped those riots.

Oooh the bad 'ol days of Hooliganism and the Firms. The UK authorities used stadium bans, bans from city centers where they would congregate, ban from public transportation, passport/immigration bans for UEFA football, piling on more punitive fines and detainment for every successive infraction and of course infiltrating these groups to ensure the Bobby's where on site to meet them before the mayhem begun...

Vasquez is playing well now also -- I think has a nice goal streak going when you included the end of last season.
What youth club did Kann play for?

I’ll bet he still falls down a lot too. (Sarcasm) I did Google him and it appears he is doing well for the new team. Wonder if he will break out and get himself to Europe yet.
