This upcoming season is the start of a new uniform cycle for a number of clubs. Has anyone released what the new threads will look like?

Why have a hype video over something you don’t have an option with? Not like if it’s poorly received they can do anything about it.

Do most clubs have a third shirt? I counted two mustards and a blue, not including keepers, in that seizure inducing video that never clearly showed the uniforms. Third uniform that is the same color scheme as one of the others seems expensive excessive.

Is SSA still wearing Chelsea jerseys?

Is SSA still wearing Chelsea jerseys? Don’t believe so going forward in the fall. My guess is they were fine with being affiliated with a Russian oligarch but once that LA Dodger money took over they had to say admit some money is just too dirty. More seriously I’m assuming you can’t be in MLS Next and affiliated with a club from another league but that’s just a guess.

Unless one is the practice kit? Who knows

AFU just posted their new uniforms on social media: AFU 2022 kits
Main changes are white sleeves on the black & red kits and instead of the grey/black/grey 3rd kit, they're doing an all-blue one. I like the white sleeves but the blue kit seems dumb.

Yeah you and I have very different tastes then. To each his own. The one thing I like about AFU's over Concorde's is that AFU displays their crest/patch on the chest like a typical soccer club, whereas Concorde just puts the words "Concorde Fire" there. Not sure why don't put theirs on the chest.

Not a big fan of the white sleeves. Looks like a muscle shirt on top of an undershirt. Are the red jersey and short colors different colors like the red warm up suit? If so, not a big fan. Blue looks good with the white trim but not sure how it ties in with Atlanta Fire. Two different pre-game warm up shirts and two different pregame warm up suits is a bit excessive. Black one looks good, not sure about the two tone red. Also, no true light colored jersey. I wonder which one they will wear for home matches.

If you look at the shirt closely at the bottom, it looks like someone cut & paste the new shirt onto the shorts. Yeah I'm not going to be happy if we're having to buy multiple pre-game & warmup outfits. Wondering the same as you about the home jersey.

Concorde and AFU did not have the same kits the last cycle. Since both are Nike clubs and on the same uniform cycle, not many options to chose from.

Only 2 keeper kits almost same color with only one being short sleeve playing in 90-100 weather. I see a lot of those getting altered with the keepers wearing undershirt if needed.

Yikes -- given those end dates, not much options, if it's a 2 year cycle, you need them to be available through early 2024. which leaves the 2 -- the white sleeves jersey and the one with the pattern on the sleeve.
I haven't seen any adidas kits for next year, how they looking?

I've never had a kid have to have (i.e. have us be forced to pay for) a separate warm-up jersey, thankfully. Never really understood the need for those, honestly, especially in youth soccer. Mostly just confuses the parents on the sidelines when the warm up jerseys for one team seem to clash with the actual jerseys for the other!

It's better than last cycle, the keeper's long sleeve was grey as was the 3rd field player kit so in the cold if the team wore the grey kit the keeper was SOL wearing a short sleeve (or something longer underneath). I had to get Mirza to let me buy my daughter a different color nike long sleeve, which he agreed to.

Third uniform that is the same color scheme as one of the others seems expensive excessive. My understanding after talking with a Director last night was that the uniforms we see are reversible meaning that there are only 2 jerseys (4 different looks) and a training jersey that can be a 3rd kit if needed. They didn't really do a good job stating that. I'm curious how reversible will work. I've seen it in Basketball jerseys but never soccer ones.

Throw in the fact that Capelli jerseys are heavier than Nike and Adidas and the players will be wearing a sweater vest.

I like all the AFU options shown. I am not 100% positive, but I think the blue might be a throw back to the old West Gwinnett days.
As for what will be the true home jersey, I'm not sure one will be designated. In the past I have seen AFU use both red & black at home. I think it might be more of something that is coordinated with the opponent on a game by game basis.

Grey kits were backup home kits but that’s been ECNL so we wear two nearly every weekend no matter home and away to help avoid laundry for traveling teams.
