Here is SSA's. I guess the kits aren't reversible or at least they aren't showing the reversible side if they are. My issue with SSA is that because it is through Capelli they are making you buy the whole kit at $409 that includes a generic looking white ball which no one is going to bring to practice as you would have 18 same looking balls so who knows who loses whose ball. That's just dumb to include in a "required" kit. Also the bag looks to be a downgrade looks wise compared to the Nike bags from the last two years also "required". I'm sure there will be some kids even if they are forced to buy the new bag, they will still use their old Nike one. As far as warmups go, I honestly think they should be "optional" for teams that do not play year round or teams that are not at the "elite" type level. The U16-U19 teams don't even play with club when it is cold enough to even wear them as they only play Fall and late Spring. So the club is essentially forcing people to pay for warmups that will never be used, or if they are used it will be maybe once or twice. These clubs get this deals with people like Capelli forcing parents into buying stuff really not needed for a little kickback for coaching gear etc.... www.ssaelite.com/Default.aspx?tabid=310729 Yeah that’s annoying to have to buy stuff you never use. I like the game unis but the training ones are so depressing looking. Well I would say if they just want to say the $12 ball everyone has to buy but bring it to the first day of training and the coach will keep it thus them being "Team Balls" and then players don't have to bring their own from then on out, but if its not that way then there is no way my kid is going to bring a ball identical to everyone training on all the fields that particular night on all teams so no-one knows whose is whose. That was just not well thought out by SSA admins. Why require a ball in a kit that doesn't even say "SSA" on it. It just says Capelli. Probably cost Capelli what $1-2 a ball to make if that.

Like I said it was just SSA throwing Capelli a bone and scratching their back by requiring it.

For whatever it’s worth new SSA Capelli shirts are not reversible, at least ones we’ve tried on. Does feel heavier than previous Nike shirts. One shirt will definitely stand out from everyone else with a version of pink in the summer and the yellow when the real season starts.

They just posted the UFA Keeper kits, training kits, and "outdoor" wear on United's IG. I really liked the red shirts with the number. Now they are blue.

It looks like AFU made a change to their uniform selection. Friend’s kids took pics during fittings, and they have a much better look than the ones originally posted. All of the announcement posts seem to have been removed too. I think the change was a good decision.

I like them much better. To echo what someone else said: the old jerseys looked like tank tops over a t-shirt. CF has the same jerseys and IMO AFU's look better. I really think it's because of the crest being on the chest. "Concorde Fire" looks unfinished. To each their own!

I believe the change was made due to availability and had nothing to do with the look. Also, from what I have heard, it was one of the teams last year that picked the uniforms. If this is the case, I wish they could have kept what was originally picked since it was the players that wanted those specific uniforms. Now to figure out how to wear blue against Concorde all the time since they are notorious for showing up in the wrong uniforms when we play them.

I hated the white sleeves, I’m glad they changed it. I I’m happy that my kid won’t be wearing the original kit.

I could never figure out why girls roll their jerseys up but I have always been perplexed why girls wear extra short short soccer shorts?

A lot of them roll their sleeves up to keep from having tan lines. As far as the extra short shorts- these are teenage girls. Just about everything they wear is extra short! Been that way for a loooong time.

A lot of them roll their sleeves up to keep from having tan lines. As far as the extra short shorts- these are teenaged girls. Just about everything they wear is extra short! Been that way for a loooong time. Once they're in women's sizes the shorts are shorter compared to youth sizes. Mine is getting women's XS this season and she's excited to have short shorts!

Very few girls slide tackle so I guess it is not a big issue for them. Personally it would have pissed me off as I did a lot of slide tackling.

I have never understood the need for the short shorts either. My girls roll up their shorts to keep them from falling down because they're both in between sizes, but that's it. Will never understand the "fashion" behind wearing shorts that look like underwear...

My wife and I loathe the tucking in of girls' shorts. We understand and appreciate that we also did dumb things and also had poor fashion sense. Our high school team looks like they are all wearing diapers. In some cases, way too much is showing. Wish the parents would say "Um, no. Be an athlete, not a sex symbol." I even wish the coaches would say "no" to tucking in the shorts and rolling of the sleeves and go with a "respect the kit" line. But alas, I am officially old and have become my parents. While I often rebuffed their guidance at the time and chose my own path, I am forever grateful for the values they instilled. I pray that I might do the same for my children.

Whether a child is a “sex symbol” speaks to the viewer who considers them as such, not the child wearing the clothing. Clearly you have never been a women with thighs who has to run while sweating, those shorts chafe and ride up on their own. May as well just leave them there rather than pulling at them all game.

Clearly you have never been a women with thighs who has to run while sweating, those shorts chafe and ride up on their own. May as well just leave them there rather than pulling at them all game. The makers of clothing never seem to test their athletic apparel on women of all sizes (don't think they do it for men either). I never had the shorts riding up problem but I will say the longer shorts are a pain when wet. They stick to you and it is like using therapy bands on your legs for resistance while running. That being said there are some kids rolling them up so much you can see their gluteal fold (the line that separates buttock from thigh). That is unnecessary. Rolling up sleeves I can't even imagine why that would be an issue. It is not revealing IMO. There is a happy medium between soccer shorts for function and wearing them as fashion. Calling them "sex symbols" might be a bit over the top tho.
