I think it's brilliant that Atlanta clubs think that Black is a great color given how hot and humid it is in the South. I get it for Concorde because of that whole Empire vs. the Rebellion thing. But for the other clubs... c'mon...

But for the other clubs... c'mon... I've said the same for years - I get the need for a dark jersey, but there has to be something better than an all-black uniform when you have so many games in hot weather, many of which are played on turf, which makes it even hotter.

I've got to say. It is better than putting anyone in WHITE SHORTS. Maybe the lesser of 2 evils. But would a medium grey color kill anyone?

The science seems to be split on wearing white or black on a hot day. White does reflect the sun but also reflects the body's heat back on the body while the exterior of the black clothing gets hotter, but also absorbs the heat from the body. We can all agree that turf on a hot day is bad.

…We can all agree that turf on a hot day is bad. Artificial turf in the summer is the worst experience. It can literally be 20+ degrees warmer on that stuff. It’s brutal.

My kid's jerseys for tophat this summer look very different from their current uniforms. also looks pretty bland so they may have just made it for kids who don't regularly play with them?

No, summer league uniforms are not new kits. Some clubs get essentially dry fit shirts with numbers for summer league, others use the current uniform.

anyone have any secret insider images of UFA/Concorde/Tophat/NASA new kits? could be the leaks of the century.... I thought NTH was in the middle of a uniform cycle? Pretty sure they have another year with the space dye whatever. Concorde might also be in the middle of their cycle? UFA definitely new this year. I perused the Adidas catalog after seeing the AFU release and there are some decent choices ... let's hope they choose wisely!

Just another reason why USA sucks at the international level. The country is too large to find the best players and when they do it’s not the best….it’s the best that can afford this! This money grab has got to stop! ECNL is a total money grab, college ID camps (AVOID THEM) with multiple coaches is a money grab, uniforms money grab! Why these clubs that have sponsors across jersey cannot kick down the cost is beyond me. The fact that UFA even made the DA players either wear Adidas or cover up Nike logo blew me away as they weren’t even providing shoes or really anything!
Focus needs to be on quality training and if your kid is good enough they will find you. I had a kid who I didn’t let play club until I was ready for it and I trained my child until age of 10 and coached the team at a small club where I could make my own decisions and then when my child was ready for the stupidity of club soccer I threw my child in there and guess what team my child Landed on…second team for 1 tournament at which time they put on top team and from there it’s been that way until I sent my child off to a top d1 soccer school. My point is that many focus on all the wrong things. If you let your kid play for Ted C you are crazy BTW! If she doesn’t have an earring disorder yet, he will make sure she does!

This is wrong. Love how it’s 50/50 on players (girls especially) that love white shorts. I personally always loved blue or black jerseys on white shorts. My oldest two girls did too. Hell I think the only shorts they still have from their playing days are the white ones.

Is it me or do those Capelli kits look "heavy"...
Any UFA leaks, getting ready to fork out a big $$ for multiple kids playing, hate this time of year...
Blows my mind, clubs get bigger, and uniforms cost more..... explain that to me..... No multiple kid discounts is scam also..... Unfortunately, this isn't just a soccer problem.

Friends of mine have worn Capelli at Rush Union for two years. Says they’re great and not heavy. Not as good as his old Puma gear but better then Adidas and comparable to Nike. Kits get more expensive because everything else does. If Nike knows they can charge $20 more they will.

New UFA Jerseys. To me, they seem a little busy with all the logos. Add on the ECNL/SCCL Patch on the sleeve. I assume Emory logo across the back. Feels like a walking advertisement for everything but the club. Design is cool. Thoughts? http://instagr.am/p/Cd3P5kMsULd

That is where a sponsor usually goes.

I wish it had an impact on the fees they are charging - and I don’t mean an INCREASE.

Never had issues with finding white. Other colors like yellow and gray I can see being issues. By middle school they were wearing the Nike compression/bicycle shorts all the time too so they’d wear those a lot.

I’m usually fine with logos, but we’re approaching NASCAR territory. You’re right, it should have an impact on pricing. Boy would that be a game changer!

Interesting the Adidas pdf had the womens kit at $55 and the mens at $50. Figure another $5-$10 for logos and numbers.
