TMs have the pairings only - times / locations are still TBD and being worked by the club schedulers. Keep in mind if there were blackout dates that were requested but missed there will be changes. And then the conflicts will happen during the season and yet more changes / reschedules / weather etc.
That being said - sure wish they would HURRY UP! ;-)

This is silly, but really it's all about the EXCITEMENT in the kids. Even if you are not the top of the heap in the ATL - as a kid, getting to travel somewhere with all your soccer friends and stay in a hotel and do something you don't normally do - that's great fun, no matter how old you are! The whole adventure aspect is not lost on the kids. They really enjoy it. In the big picture, it is all about developing the friendships and experiences that will stay with the players - and along the way they learn to love the game too.

Jack - See ya around the division :-) We are there as well. Should be a fun season if the weather cooperates!

Don't forget you get one transfer per season. A move (up or down) would be that transfer. Just one more little piece of info to keep in mind with regard to this question.

I want to go and let my daughter feel the excitement and see the team in person again (As spectator said - the Beat (Kennesaw) venue was a great place to watch a game) but the middle of the week thing is difficult for school and work. We will probably still go with a group of friends and their kids.

I have learned from this post that the kids are actually paying attention to the professional games.

Unlike Select teams, Academy teams are considered one big group of players per age group. As such, the club can place the players ANYWHERE they so desire. The bigger the club, the more places you could see the players as long as the parents are willing to make the trip since they are the ones driving the kids around.

Thank you Spectator. I didn't want to be the only one with a not completely serious answer - but all I could think of was valium. ;-)
Maybe let the parents play and let the kids provide the color commentary / side-line coaching...
