I've spoken to some parents on this team and the thought was if RA was coaching 06 DA at NASA most of the team would follow but since he's not only a handful might make the move. This parent said a lot of families are starting to see the writing on the wall with CF and are becoming disillusioned and frustrated with the constant exodus of top coaches, however, they are going to give it one more year.
Not sure what RA's role will be moving forward but I cant see DS not taking advantage of this opportunity. I guess we'll just have to wait and see

MG has 2006 DA along with RT (who primarily does 2007). I think MG is another CF departure from the year before.

What writing on the wall at CF? The U12s just took care of AU and will vie for the best U13 DA team in the city next year with NASA. The U15s will very likely win their DA division next year and make the playoffs. The 06s are a strong group of boys and can withstand 2 bench players moving to NASA. After next year, yes, everything resets, but you can’t rely on promises - just the facts, ma’am.

NASA beat CF by 1 goal a bunch of times, but the result could have easily gone the other way...

But who's gonna coach those teams?
Question: Why have MG, SM, CH, JH, RM, BM, GP, RA (all top level licensed coaches) left CF in the last few years?
Somethings up and parente are concerned.
It looks to me like NASA and DS are thinking long term, as in 3-5 years down the line and are putting the right people in place to give themselves and their players/families better opportunities. IMO anyway.

You're right...forgot about JJ. Not to mention the other quality coaches who left with MG and the north program.

IMO anyway. DS is a common sense guy who is well respected by other coaches. He also does a good job of investigating the upset parent versus coach issues that always come up. The Milton expansion and Smyrna was directly because of his positive reputation in the soccer community. It wasn’t a power play as much as making smart decisions when good coaches reached out. I’m a cynical type human by nature and DS has checked the honesty box for me over the past few years.

Watch West CF, it is falling to NTH like North CF did last year. Coaches (good ones) and players. I would be surprised if West CF exists for another season.

Hahahaha! He would get a big penalty kick out of that thought. Ahhh! Soccer parents. 🤣

The thing is, the 06 CF parents had MG at U-12 and do not hold that guy in high regard at all.

That's correct. Probably the one area NTH goofed is by not putting RA on the 06 DA team. By all accounts the rumor was the whole team (or the majority) would have followed RA. But most, apparently, do not want to play for MG again.
