Kind of scary -- ain't easy becoming a pro: Carleton - Without Club Goslin - Without club Bello - Bundesliga 2 relegated, Arm Eielfeld - minutes have decreased, but haven't paid much attention Patrick Okonkwo - FC Cosmos - 6th tier German League Lagos Kunga - Al_khums SC - Libya wonder if AC was invited to pay $130 and tryout on Jan 7. He is no longer shown on the roster. Dang. Was hoping he would climb back up. www.sdloyal.com/tryouts/

Roswell native Cal Jennings released by LAFC. Wonder what the “re-entry draft” means. AU should bring him in. He scores goals.

Carleton apparently signed with the Las Vegas Lights on Wed. Jennings is still on the Vegas USL roster (since being released from LAFC). He played for both teams last season.

Sources: Birmingham City in last-gasp move to sign USA star George Bello Birmingham City have made a late move for USA defender George Bello, sources have told Football Insider. The left-back, 21, has emerged as a target for multiple sides after catching the eye for Arminia Bielefeld in 2. Bundesliga in the last 12 months. Bello is understood to be available for a cut-price fee of £1.5million following Arminia’s relegation from the German top-flight last summer. www.footballinsider247.com/sources-birmingham-city-in-last-gasp-move-to-sign-usa-star-george-bello/

Birmingham circling the drain too. That’d be a pressure cooker.. probably be a great experience. Traumatic but great. No idea if the transfer happened though.

yea, additional game by game stats can be found here for Bello: www.transfermarkt.us/george-bello/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/504147/wettbewerb/L2/saison/2022looks like he might have gotten hurt and missed 4 games in a row, and then got minimal minutes after that. But in games he did play, I think they won only 3 of them and tied 3.....(2 of those wins he played 3 and 8 minutes) I've said this before and the same with Wiley, if I was playing a team with these 2 players, I would overload their side of the field and constantly attack that space. They both get caught constantly too far up field and lose track of the priority of defending.

Patrick Okonkwo is back playing for KSA in the UPSL and also is playing for Apotheos FC in the NPSL. Apotheos is basically the KSA UPSL guys and is coached by Bruno Kalonji (KSA founder).

They can overlap and cover for each other.

I do hope they can get this deal done. Watford did finish middle of the table in the championship. However, they've been in the EPL a few times 2-3 times over the last 5 years. So making it back to the top flight could happen and would do wonders for Bello's career...

While I agree with comment about getting caught out too forward and tracking back I feel like that is true of many modern backs. Even Marcelo had the same issue. It doesn’t matter if your team can dominate like Real Madrid and Brazil did. But there were plenty of times he did not get back. Strong offense and a good defensive midfield and no big deal

When you’re the better and more talented team getting your backs forward is almost a cheat code especially on the youth side
