From what i am hearing from parents of kids our Club lost and others i just know Coaches/ Clubs were promising CLI or II, Athena A, and from the list i can still see of U13CLI they didnt get it, i am sure they are hurt feeling or just plain upset people out there, probably caused too many emails for certain AGC's

In Athena A, 13 matches is a lot considering there are only about 11 or 12 weekends between Labor Day and T-giving, considering rainouts. Looking at some of the player movement between these teams, I can see several struggling in the Fall. Was looking at the U13 Athena A and B brackets again. Based on what I know, admittedly not much, even though we might suppose some teams will struggle in Athena A, it is hard to argue that any of the teams in Athena B could do any better if placed up a level. Alternatively, if you took any of those suspected lower finishing Athena A teams and put them in Athena B I think they might have an easy time of it. Who knows, of course, but someone has to be at the bottom and someone at the top of each division. This is why they play the games, but for these two divisions anyway the placements do not seem outlandishly bad. |

i agree. i've seen some top teams struggle against other clubs top teams for the rising u13 girls, but they throttle smaller clubs and 2nd teams from other clubs. it will all work itself out.
but whats crazy is if 2 leave for rpl and they drop 4, thats 6 new teams in A! i assume they will go to 12, and only add 4, but still no way there are 4 teams in B that can play with the A teams. the 13s last year had 1 maybe 2 B teams that could/can play with A teams.

GA Soccer site is very vague about when that will occur. You'd think that when the brackets are locked, that'd be publishable but apparently not. The only hard date they give is the 8/22 date for schedules to be released. I'm assuming that means to the public. As of today, August 1 - I've seen more brackets here than I ever have by this date in the past - but it does look like there are still some unfinished ones, too - specifically the one I want - but that's more for the morbid curiosity I have about a former team not the one we're on now!  |

I think U13 Athena D West has already been posted so here is East and Athena E, interesting E only has 6 teams and the schedule shows they will play each other twice, a home and away game???

They must be getting closer for U14 girls. My team manager login now has a link for "Schedules/Game Scoring" that wasn't there yesterday. There still isn't a schedule or list of teams but I can now see which division we're in.
