I can't infer much from either post. The most confusing bit is "winning team".
The most successful team is the 02 Composites, which are gone after this year anyways.
The only other winning girls ECNL team at AFU is 04's, the coach is the DoC and is new to that team this year.
AFAIK the only girls team with the same coach for 3 years is the 05's, who lost their best attacking player to GSA last year and had a fairly dismal year.
So I must assume its the 07's with SG (who don't have a winning record).

But that was a couple months ago, and likely a not-easily-repeatable feat.
And that's exactly how it should work. Club doesn't listen, move on to another club.
Also, you should never keep a team with the same coach for 3 years IMO. That said, there's some players on that team that should learn to pass the ball more.

So before I reach out to friends out at AFU, has anyone else been able to independently verify this? Or can anyone lend some weight to if this is true or not? I was under the impression that team was finally getting into their "Groove" no disrespect to Stella. Especially, after beating one of the top talented teams in the nation just before the holidays. So the questions I have are what trouble is afoot, are the moms looking to do a TH -> CF type move or are the players dispersing on their own and what has the "boss" as she so eloquently puts it, done to address or ignore this 'trouble" Or are we all being sold a bunch of malarkey and this is just an uber early version of the craziness that occurs around tryouts, when we also catch glimpses of unicorns and fire breathing coaches and DOCs? |
