Wanted to see if we could get a list of teams from Atlanta that are representing in their respective league. Wanted to keep up with the teams hoping some of them win. I’m all about supporting Atlanta teams
My kid plays at Concorde and the 06 Platinum team is going who else?

Every team that won SCCL club in the fall is going to US Club nationals.

Based on current ECNL records, these are who I think will represent the Metro AL region in the ECNL Nationals. Other local teams may have qualified for the North American Cup and the Open Cup, but I focused on the top-tiered post season group... Boys U13 - GSA, Plat U14 - GSA, UFA U15 - GSA, NASA, Plat, Prem, UFA U16 - GSA, NASA, Plat, UFA U17 - GSA, NASA, Plat, AFU, UFA U18/19 - GSA Girls U13 - Plat U14 - X U15 - GSA, Plat U16 - GSA U17 - Plat, UFA U18/19 - Plat Composite - AFU For the Girls Academy League, I'm going to guess U13/14/15/16/17/18 - Tophat Gold 1 and/or Gold 2. Not sure how many per age, division, etc. But from their national rankings here is how both local TH teams finished... Age Groups GA1- Gold Team GA2 - Navy Team Total Teams U13 - 3 10 30 U14 - 4 37 46 U15 - 11 12 60 U16 - 2 38 59 U17 - 13 43 65 U19 - 2 36 40 |

ECNL Girls National Finals | Richmond, VA | July 17-18, 2021
US Club NATIONAL CUP XX FINALS Commerce City, CO July 16-20, 2021
US Youth Soccer National Championships July 19th - July 25th Lakewood Ranch, FL
GA Playoffs, June 23-30, Oceanside, CA

Roswell Blue 06G and 05G are going to Nationals ... Atlanta Fire 06G SCCL-CLUB will be at Regionals trying to get to Nationals

AU U17 - #3 Southeast Division (but need to win this weekend vs InterMiami to keep playoff spot)

Any omission was not intentional, but I went off of the website which listed the 32 qualifiers and I don't see any Georgia teams... GSA was at one time a possible wildcard spot but looks like was bumped off as the rest of the country's games wrapped up. As of last week the '07 GSA girls team was training as if they are going to Nationals. Additionally, due to their plans for Nationals, none of the ECNL girls are being allowed to play summer SCCL...which was about half their team. It's possible something changed after last Wednesday, but up until then they were planning on a trip to Nationals. |

UFA (Norcross & Forsyth) SCCL older boys didn’t look today, both lost badly on the first day .. maybe losing 0-4 and 1-7 will wake them up . 😏

I am surprised honey badger has not mentioned this but since we know 3 girls on this team I will do the honors.
All-in FC 03 team made it to the finals at USYS South Regionals. Unfortunately they lost in the finals but still congratulations to them!

TH 05 team moves on to quarterfinals Wednesday defeating LA Surf 2-0 today.
TH 02/03 lost the national final game to FC Bay Area (I believe)
I believe TH 08 lost the national semifinal game today also.

TH 05 team moves on to quarterfinals Wednesday defeating LA Surf 2-0 today. TH 02/03 lost the national final game to FC Bay Area (I believe) I believe TH 08 lost the national semifinal game today also. All true. So 08 plays third place game today. 02/03 ends the year in second place. 04 gold plays their quarterfinal game today and 05 gold plays theirs tomorrow. 06 gold and navy failed to advance to the quarters both ending up 2nd in their groups. 07 gold did not advance to semifinals. 08 navy did not advance to the semifinals but DID qualify for the playoffs. 07 navy did not qualify for playoffs (07 and 08 had only 16 team playoffs so had to be in top two in conference to qualify). There was no showcase division for U13 or 14. 04 Navy ended up 5th of 6 (0-1-2) in their bracket in showcase division 2 of 2 (there were multiple brackets). 05 Navy ended 3rd of 6 in showcase 1 of 5 going 1-1-1. There were a couple hundred coaches there and multiple youth national team scouts. 05 Gold had 70 coaches watching them on the first day and had over 100 watch them over the weekend (according to my source). Good luck to 08, 04 and 05 Gold who still have games to play. Congrats to 02/03 Gold! |
