I dont follow the boys side much, but this is a really cool honor for 21-22 season based on results... (August 29, 2022) – The ECNL is excited to announce NTH-NASA (Georgia) has won the 2021-2022 ECNL Boys Overall Club Championship. This honor is awarded to the club that has earned the highest total points from regular-season conference games and performance at the ECNL National Playoffs and Finals. Winning this award requires consistent excellence across all age groups throughout the season. “You don’t get this far without fantastic support, and that’s something we believe in,” said Ray Tomlin, Boys Director of Coaching at NTH-NASA. “The first thing is the support we get from the parents. They believe in our process, so for them to see us win this award, it shows that their commitment to our club paid off.” UFA - 23 CF - not listed AFU - not listed GSA - not listed

NTH-NASA’s overall record in boys ECNL was a ridiculous 106 wins, 12 losses, and 25 draws. Hope this brings some deserved recognition to the very strong boys ECNL Southeast division.

What NASA has done with their boys program over the last 2 or 3 years has been very impressive. I thought NASA and UFA would set itself ahead of all the other boys' clubs in the city (outside of AU) but NASA has created a nice gap of separation. Congratulations to that program.

You knew something good was brewing at NASA when they met AU in the local Covid Induced Georgia Unite Cup Finale in all age-groups. Yes, they lost every finale, but that was when you knew they were on the right track, considering the resources and options available to the AU teams...

|me think nasa do well bc of RA| |me know he come from cf| |cf no give RA promotion| |u welcome nasa| Great coach. No question. But give credit where it’s due. (DS, RT, TG). I don’t think RA has had enough time to develop a team yet at NASA. Since NASA left DA they have been slowly building solid teams in ECNL comprised of a variety of players. 2007 boys have mostly remained intact since U12 (example). Whatever the special sauce is, it’s good for the Southeast. Let’s also remember that the SE has some VERY good teams so everyone has a stake in pushing each other to be better. I think there is a good chance that this time next year the top of the ECNL table will have more than just one team from the SE.

You're right those coaches are doing great things and deserve credit. DS especially for recognizing an opportunity to go to the next level at NASA and bring someone like RA over. Very astute management that has paid off big time.
If anybody can confirm please help me out but I'm pretty sure that besides the 07s (which I believe he is now currently coaching) and the 09s which is a DS developed age group all the other age groups have been majorly influenced by RA. Either being the head coach (04s, 05s, 06s, 08s) for multiple years in most of those age group or having the top players follow him to NASA from CF when he left a few years ago. Not sure how long ago that was but it's been at least three.
Either way between the four of them they have found the secret formula at NASA. Oh and on the NASA website RA is listed as the ECNL Director.

RA, DS, RT and TG are a major piece of what makes NASA a great program. RA is getting a lot of credit here and that is deserved. He does coach the 07s now and has them winning, picking up where RT left off. I think we should also acknowledge TG’s ability not only to win games but to get his kids seen and recruited by D1 colleges. This is why many top players leave their programs at an older age to join TG’s teams.

What does this mean for their youth academy, does NASA have the premier boys academy in Georgia? Is this the engine to feed what's happening at the older age groups?

Is RT or RA the NASA ECNL Director? And is this club champion that NASA has won regarding the entire boys program at NASA or is this specifically to the 6 teams in their ECNL Boys program?

It is the ECNL boys overall club championship so it relates to U13-U19 boys ECNL which is NASA’s highest level program.

NASA ECNL boys U13-19 played Alabama and Tennessee this weekend to a combined record of 11 wins and 1 loss. Continuing good results from its club championship season.

Interesting that the the current U15 and U16 NASA teams who both finished first in their division last year are struggling under Austin this year. The U15 game turned out to be a red card frenzy without any malicious or dangerous plays by either team.

Not sure about the 15s since RA coached them last year and was a revelation with them compared to the previous year when MG coaches them.
Seems to be injuries for 16s. Don't think that team has been healthy all season. They've had key players missing since returning from nationals in St. Louis.
Didn’t see todays games but RA always seems to figure it out. Pretty sure he will turn it around.
Red card frenzy? How many and for who?

Two Concorde and NASA players got tangled up halfway into the 1st half. NASA player gets a red, Concorde player initially gets a yellow. After conferring with the AR on the other half of the field (🤷🏻♂️), ref changes Concorde player’s yellow to straight red. Later in the half, Concorde player gets a second yellow for a foul so half finishes with 10 NASA players, 9 Concorde players. With 5-10 minutes left in the 2nd half, NASA player gets two yellow cards back to back for mouthing off to the ref. Both teams finish with 9 on the field. Concorde 3, NASA 0.

Would have loved to seen the players decide the game instead of the center Ref.

Respectfully, I think the boys did decide the outcome. Concorde controlled the game and even scored playing with a man down. 3-0 is a decisive win. Not sure what happened but that NASA 08-team is a shell of what I remember from last year.
