So given it's almost impossible to determine this on the field these days. Which team is the best in the state in each corresponding age group for boys and girls. I've included both the single u16 and u17 age groups. If someone else lists a team - either give that team a 2nd or 3rd vote - the 3rd vote gives the team the spot. Then when we get 3 disagreeing the election - facts will need to be presented to determine top squad. Age | Boys | Girls | u13 | 06 Atlanta United DA | 06 Concorde Fire Platinum ECNL | u14 | | 05 NASA/Tophat DA | u15 | | | u16 | | | u16/u17 | UFA u17 DA | NASA/Tophat DA u17 | u17 | | | u18/u19 | 01 KSA |

So do we do this like a vote, we need a 2nd and 3rd vote for a team to take the spot? if so if you 2nd or 3rd a vote please state that as well.
and then others will have to offer a counter and 2nd/3rd counter for then there to be constructive discussion on who is truly king
power to the people

For U14G, its either CF Premier ECNL or NTH DA with a possible 3rd in Roswell Santos who went undefeated in the NL Piedmont 10-0-1. I don't think there is any way objectively to assess which is better though... www.ussoccerda.com/sam/standings/regevent/index.php?containerId=NzQzODA1Ng==&partialGames=1However, by plugging Tophat and U14 into the boxes it looks like they went around 20-1-1 on the year, with FOUR wins of over 10 points and FIVE wins by 5+. 9 of their games were close. By and large, U14 GDA looks like garbage with results like that, especially south Florida GDA. CF Premier went 13-3-3 so far with only 1 blowout win (6 goals) in ECNL. I'll give the edge to the NTH team. That said, there are too many GDA and ECNL clubs in Florida (12 vs 6 in Georgia).

I misread the instructions - you only want votes for the top team for each, not top 3. So I’ll condense: Boys: U12: NASA DA (I know they’re not in your matrix, but they deserve to be recognized) U13: AU DA U14: SSA DA U15: CF DA U16: CF ECNL U17: UFA DA U19: KSA PP 01 Girls: U13: CF Platinum ECNL U14: TH DA U15: TH DA U16: GSA ECNL U17: TH DA U19: TH DA

Its impossible to know how they would stack up to DA squads, but I feel like KSA 01 Boys should be mentioned in this conversation. They might be the most talented non-DA boys team to ever play in this state

The best u18 boys team in the state is KSA 01's, ask the DA teams how they faired against them last year.
KSA AU DA UFA DA

NTH 05 DA was ranked #1 nationally for most of the year.. and you're not 100% sure that they're the best team locally?
Even when they fly around the country, very few teams can even give them a good game.

I’ll give this a go. Only for age groups I’ve seen personally recently: U13G 1 - CF Platinum 2 - TH ECNL 3 - UFA combined 06s (best of DA play-ups and NPL. Not technically a team at the moment) U14G 1 - TH DA 2 - SSA (CF Premier ECNL) 3 - CF Platinum U16G 1 - TH combined 03s (same situation since gap year in DA) 2 - AFC Gold 3 - UFA combined 03s 4 - GSA ECNL (based on results only, stylistically and technically I put them much much lower) 5 - CF ECNL U17G 1 - TH DA 2 - CF Platinum 3 - Tormenta (don’t know if they count since merger with USA-Mt. Pleasant, but they are excellent) U12B 1 - NASA/TH DA 2 - Atlanta United DA (important to note that AU routinely plays their best players up, so this shouldn’t be taken to imply that they don’t have the best group player for player) U13B 1 - Atlanta United DA 2 - CF DA 3 - UFA DA or GSA ECNL (I haven’t seen these two recently, but big step down from the top 2 to either of these) U17 1 - UFA DA 2 - CF DA 3 - Atlanta United DA (important to note that AU routinely plays their best players up, so this shouldn’t be taken to imply that they don’t have the best group player for player) Re: U14G...I will give you TH DA...but GSA 05 ECNL just beat SSA twice in 2 weeks...and tied Concorde Platinum twice...with Platinum playing all their 04 Playups. So based on head to head GSA 05 ECNL would be the No. 2 U14 girls team.

I know I can’t be the only person on this forum to chuckle anytime KSA of any age group is mentioned with rarified greatness. A number of prior KSA 01 parents have knowingly laughed when I asked them about the age rumors. Each of them said it is one of the reasons they left. Apparently losing playing time to older players rubs people the wrong way. Regardless, there is no way the 01 team (u18) is better than any of the three u19 DA squads or GBs ECNL team that is leading the Southeast conference with a +32 differential.

There are more logical ways of figuring out the top teams outside of polling. This isn't global warming. Use deductive reasoning.
