Then why say it for UFA, NC Courage, and Charlotte? Just sayin... I am not here to argue the point, but i dont think one can assume off the bat that those clubs first teams will be in ECNL (the clubs that just announced) After thinking about I think I saw something that said they call it all-in when they have both boys and girls in ecnl and not necessarily which of the girls teams is actually in there. Not true...

Maybe I was wrong. Thought I saw it somewhere though. You were right. Again, not to argue the point, but take a look at the announcement when Real Colorado and the Dallas Texans announced they were coming back to ECNL. The press release does not mention, nor does the Girls ECNL ever mention boys ECNL clubs, etc. ECNL started using this "All in" phrase a couple of years ago when they made clubs make a decision between DA and ECNL. When the clubs chose ECNL - the press release referred to them as "All in" clubs alluding to the fact that they no longer are in DA, but their top programming was in ECNL. RICHMOND, VA (March 11, 2020) – The Elite Clubs National League Girls is excited to announce that the Dallas Texans and Real Colorado will be returning to the ECNL in 2020-2021. Both clubs will be “All-In” with the ECNL, making the league the top of their competitive pyramid.

Both of those already had boys ECNL when they had the girls join

"All-In" means both boys and girls. It's not an opinion.

As you may have noticed, with some of the latest clubs "moving away" from GAL to ECNL (4 west coast clubs + Penn Fusion, etc.); the ECNL announcement does not say the are an "ALL IN" club with the top programming in ECNL. These clubs will also be a part of GAL, and their top clubs will be in GAL. Wishful thinking? No need to say All-In when DA doesn't exist anymore. I doubt any club would put their top team in GAL and 2nd team in ECNL. Agreed, but it isn't clear that Beach and Legends and the other two were invited all the way up to ECNL just yet. The announcement welcomed them into ECRL. I think the confusion and vagueness is purposeful.

"All-In" means both boys and girls. It's not an opinion. Do you have anything to back that up or... Did a quick google search for you. They have an "all in" branding catalog on their website that has the double "All-In" logo. It differs from the regular branding catalog that has only one league logo . That's all the effort I'll put into your denial of the obvious.

This gives GAL 20 clubs with the midwest and northeast with a big majority of DA teams from those regions. Even if there is a debate about the quality of those teams in DA they were still DA teams. If this keeps up the league will end up being a really good league that may have a chance of keeping a fair number of their top players.

If the teams are the same in the southeast that was shown earlier the travel will be about the same as da (for that matter with all the showcases and nationals ecnl as well) and I dont think will be part of many folks decisions.

GAL just announced Mid-America Conference on IG and Twitter. They are picking up most of the DA teams. Going to be a strong league.

It's quite interesting when new accounts are created to jump in just to promote someone or something.

It's quite interesting when new accounts are created to jump in just to promote someone or something. I appreciate the warm welcome since recently relocating to GA. If I stick around maybe one day I’ll attain All World status on the GA Soccer Forum like you have. What an honor that would be. Curious, was there something I said that was incorrect or did it just not fit your opinion or narrative?

As much as I appreciate this forum for bringing news and updates to the community, it can be pretty toxic and vitriol-filled as well when differing opinions, feelings, or rivalries come into play. The current global situation seems to be stoking those fires. I try not to post too often, but have appreciated when others have been friendly to me - so in that spirit, welcome and best of luck to you - these waters can be treacherous.

Even the proposed schedule many TH people have referenced on here travel is no more than ECNL. If you are leaving TH for an ECNL club and that's the best decision for your daughter that's great but why make up an excuse, especially "travel" when it is likely very similar to ECNL and likely what DA was already doing? Sounds like you already wanted to leave and this just gave you an opportunity to go.

Well I just really hope we see TopHat teams on the field at some point soon because they are such a fun opponent to line up against. Very skilled players and always well coached! With their top 3 teams in GAL and DPL they pretty much disappear from the rest of soccer in Georgia and pretty much the entire Southeast (outside of FL). They might as well have all loaded up in a rocket ship and traveled into outer space. We’ll see them again in a couple of years when they return home from this GAL adventure.

I could see NTH GAL teams playing in Concorde tournaments and their own tournaments and maybe UFA's Adi Cup. Who knows? It would be nice to see them play against Concorde ECNL and other clubs' ECNL teams. After all some of the best rivalries are cross conference football games (Florida vs FSU, BC vs Notre Dame, FSU vs Miami before Miami joined the ACC, Notre Dame vs USC).
