Also, the current trend in reporting “positivity” percentages is about to be a useless statistic. FDA-approved home tests with results in 15 minutes are already here and they’ll be getting faster, more affordable (about $35 per test right now), and easier to obtain. That is a test for the antibodies if you ever had it not if you have it right now. That doesn't test for the physical virus. IgG and IgM are antibodies produced by the body. I've had one of those through my doctor months ago and tested negative but that may not mean that I didn't have it since it seems in some of the population the antibodies fade within a few months. The reason why they are not being reported is because they aren't tests for covid-19 the virus. If they can come up with a 15 minute test that actually looks for the virus that is for in-home that would be a game changer. That does not exist at this point. I’m sorry, I didn’t make it clear. YOU can not get the Covid-19 Rapid Detection Kit yet, but I can. And yes, it does exist - I’m holding it in my hand. Other VCs and connected Med Tech people are the only people that have them now but, as I said, they are about to become widely available. Game changer? The media has us arguing over masks vs no masks while 1/2 the country misses the bigger point: CV19 is real, but you are being played by China, our political leaders and media leaders. If you just take a step back look at at the big picture this makes sense.
1. Washington, DC is a social club of "intellectuals" who look down on the common people.
2. Trump was truly the first real outsider to the party. He's not conservative or liberal-he's a pragmatist.
3. Bush 1, Clinton, Bush 2, and Obama all allowed China to destroy our U.S. manufacturing base, allowed China to get away with cyber tech theft, pharmaceutical theft, military spec theft, trade theft, and other things. None of these men did a thing while China was making goods using slave Muslim and Christian labor to make products to then sell here in America at a price American companies can't compete with-thus we all buy Chinese. These men also allowed the crooks in China to slowly buy up banks, financial centers and Hollywood to basically control America. Just this year a Stanford and Harvard professor were arrested by the DOJ for actually being spies for the Chinese PLA. There are 1,500 active investigations going on right now by our DOJ/DHS trying to tound up Chinese spies.
4. It's a know fact that when the virus started in Wuhan, the political capital of China was insulated from that virus---no transportation into the area at that time WHILE THEY KNOWINGLY ALLOWED FLIGHTS TO LEAVE CHINA with this virus mostly likely going world wide with those flights. That is a war crime. That is Mao Tse Tung or Hitler like. China wanted to cripple the US and the rest of the West because Trump was finally standing up to them with better trade deals for the American worker. That is how China operates--China is a BULLY that has had it's way basically since Nixon.

As with any rapid test (much like rapid strep test) they are not quite as reliable as the tests that take longer to result but no test is fool proof. I am happy to take my chances for an answer in 15 minutes. |

Here is my issue with blocking people...while this thread and some others have me wanting to block certain people because I am tired of trying to reason with them, these same people sometimes offer helpful soccer information.
My current plan (though I hate to allow disinformation to spread unchecked) is just to avoid threads where people let their politics rule them. Therefore I am off this thread forever (if I can resist my need to correct bad information).

They got to test it somewhere hence why you got some. If it is not out for general population to use then it is indeed still "being developed". RYSA Tournament was cancelled. Not sure why but rec'd this info from our club. Any word on the other August tournaments?
If your tournament plans include the RYSA Fall Kick Off Classic Tournament (both the Boys Weekend on August 22-23 and the Girls Weekend on August 29-30), the tournament is cancelled. RYSA will post information regarding the cancelation of the August dates and update the SincSports website, with plans on hosting the tournament in November of this year.

Waiting nearly 2 weeks for test results makes back tracing pointless, and creates further social and economic chaos with people (think teachers) not being allowed to return to work for almost 2 weeks. If this is a bio/economic war initiated by China (which I do not really believe), then our country's coordinated response to the pandemic means we have effectively lost the war. |
