SG is filling in where needed for now. He is probably not coaching next year but will most likely stay with AFU and help out in another capacity. It is his decision to take a break from coaching next season.

I don’t have any dogs or cats in this fight either. *But honestly, wanting a new coach after 2 years doesn’t seem like an awful request. *Maybe SG is a great coach but not a great coach for this team of girls, that has been known to happen before. *As far as talent goes, it was SG’s team and his talent so there has to be some accountability on him. *”Undoubtedly one of the best coaches in the region” Well if the internet says it, it must be true-haha. *Management shouldn’t have asked parents about next season, if they didn’t really want the honest truth. *Parents are passionate about their kids on both sides of this fence. No matter what someone was always going to be unhappy. #deepthoughts Great hire !! |

Pardon me if I’m wrong here as I’m traveling . I saw the initials SG and then “AFU”. Can I assume this is the SG that was the straw that broke the camel’s back a couple years ago where my daughter’s 05 team was given SG mid spring which caused the dominoes to fall thus leading to that team splitting into three groups ?
I’ll wait until someone confirms I’m right before I respond; but let’s just say if it is, the stories I could tell ..........
