Anyone have any info on the coaches at Ambush, NTH Milton and Santos for 2010 girls? Player is not a top team player at a top club so Tophat Milton Gold team is not likely. We have played against all of these teams in the past but coaches are changing at several of them. Thanks. Buddy of mine at Rush Union Dekalb coaches the 2010G if you’re okay with driving to Dunwoody. His top team should be SCCL C2C next year and he’s got a solid second team already too. I want to say there’s someone on here who’s in that group already.

Anyone have info or experience with Davor Kulasinac? That’s Davor at AFU right? Nothing from personal experience but a couple teammates have siblings that have played for him and we have scrimmages his groups before. Seems like a quality coach and they all seem to like him. The accent is thick but he knows what he’s talking about and knows how to relate it to the boys.

Does anyone know where the GSA 2nd teams (SCCL Club this year, ECRL next year) will be training primarily? Asking for a friend changing clubs.

All club centric teams @ GSA (not location specific), typically train out of Lilburn. It is possible a coach might change this if he/she lives closer to Rabbit Hill and most of the players would be based out of North, but I would say almost all are out of Lilburn. So, for next year this means ECNL, ECRL, SCCL Club.

With tryouts starting does this mean the coaching carousel is ending or are we still in the middle innings?

SSA is struggling with the influx of players due to two most recent club partnerships. Not sure where everyone is going to play. Will result in even more teams at the SCCL P levels. Teams and coaching assignments are still up in the air for many age groups.

Teams and coaching assignments are still up in the air for many age groups. This could, however, be a benefit for some to get looked at. Know that was happening in Dalton last night (MLS Next).

Typically the teams will train 1 night at North, 1 night at South (Parkview or South Gwinnett Park), and 1 night somewhere between (Rhodes Jordan or GGC).

My post was specifically referencing girls. There are some coaches that might get things changed, but from what I have seen & heard, it isn't their decision.

They really kinda gutted what was Dacula soccer club. Took a closer location away from local kids and made them have to drive 30 minutes away for competitive soccer (which is the way its all going to be fair). As an observation, Scott Hudgens park is equal time away from Rabbit Hill as the GSA Lilburn Park.

As an observation, Scott Hudgens park is equal time away from Rabbit Hill as the GSA Lilburn Park. When it first happened, the DSC leadership pushed the idea it was a "merger". I think as time has gone by, people have realized the old GSA leadership is actually driving the bus and it really wasn't a "merger". While UFA, Concorde & TopHat are greater distances, comparing GSA & AFU is definitely worth it if you are in the northern part of Gwinnett. Of course, for Dacula families, if you train out of Rabbit Hill, it still makes sense. However, that doesn't seem to happen a lot, especially for the upper teams.

Haha yeah funny how everyone I knew knew Gsa was using Dacula to get their Rec numbers to pay for scholarship kids and to get access to the county parks for free. Everything they did to TYSA, and what they had been trying to do to GFC/Steamers Fc. Just imagine if GSA was still only lilburn based and since they’re a private organization they don’t have access to use turf fields at Mtn Park, South Gwinnett, Rhodes Jordan. It was also a golden parachute for Drew Prentice as now he is pretty much set for life.

So has UFA Forsyth now made a slight change to their girls teams coaching projections?
When things were first released, the girls side had SCCL P1 to whatever, and SCCL Club for girls was going to be based out of Norcross.
Checking today, I see that the U17 and U19 Red teams are now showing as SCCL Club on the girls side, and then dropping down to P2. I know when I first looked at these, they were SCCL P1. When you go to the Player Pathway page, it still shows girls SCCL Club still being out of Norcross. However, looking at the Norcross site, sure enough the U17 and U19 teams are shown as SCCL P1.
Last year at those age groups Forsyth had SCCL Club, P1, P2, etc. My daughter was on the U17 SCCL P1 Gold team, which will all the sudden become an SCCL P2 team at U19 this year.

Last year (2020-2021), UFA-N had SCCL-C teams for girls at 08(U13) thru 06(U15) plus 04(U17). 05(U16) and 02/03(U19) were supposed to also be SCCL-C but they left with Sergio Magana to All-In a little over a year ago. I believe (but don't know for sure) that those age groups still had teams at UFA-N but they were "Red" teams that played SCCL-P1 (or lower, not sure). I only know about the SCCL-C teams at the other age groups. Anyway, I know UFA Forsyth Red teams for the 05's and 02/03's then took UFA's SCCL-C slots for those age groups. The 05's at UFA-N will continue to play SCCL-P. Several of the 04's at UFA-N from last year are leaving UFA-N and I see that 03/04(U19) at UFA-N will be SCCL-P, which makes sense given the level of the girls returning in that age group.

There are also a few of the UFA-Norcross 06s leaving or considering leaving. That club may not exist on the girls side much longer.
From what I understand, Dacula and Norcross were strong girls clubs...now you have to drive 30+ minutes to the parent club branches just to get equivalent training/leveled teams.

Clearly you are unaware of what transpired to get him to leave in the first place and are unwilling to accept why he's back. I challenge you to go find the alleged ulterior motive and present it to the class. Your handle is insideinfo 🙂 give us the inside scoop. I'll get my popcorn/wine and wait for you to give The Reveal 🍿🍷🍿
