My daughter was at practice the other night and heard that EH was leaving TH? Can anyone confirm if this is a rumor? If not, does anyone know where he is going?

Rumors keep getting louder about a big coach shakeup for Top Hat GA. Not sure what age(s). They still haven't posted coach info. Hearing the same. Of course one coach has left and he has two teams. Another was fired from one team so not sure the status there. Hearing some others are leaving but given that top coaches are already known at UFA, AFU and GSA either they are leaving the state or going to CF or SSA? Or maybe another club at a lower level to work their way up? |

Not sure if this coach is one being referenced… not one of the HIGHEST Team coaches. But he is leaving for something more local to where he lives. The announcement is on the Alliance Soccer Club social media.
Alliance Soccer Club is delighted to announce Coach Tommy Habeeb is joining our soccer program for the 2022-2023 seasons. Tommy will be overseeing all of the Girls’ Soccer Programs and will be the new ‘Director of Girls Programs’.
Coach Tommy brings 10+ years of coaching Georgia youth soccer. Most recently coached Academy and SCCL with TopHat. He is a part of the soccer coaching staff at both West Jackson Middle School and Jackson County High School. Tommy is also the current Director of Girls’ Futsal at Sudamerica. Tommy grew up playing club soccer through high school in Mississippi. Graduated from Georgia Tech in Industrial Engineering. Tommy currently holds the US Soccer C-license with aspirations to complete his B-license in the next year.
Please give Coach Tommy a warm welcome to Alliance Soccer Club.

Apparently he’s gone to Concorde. Word is he told his players first and then told the club, what a messy way to leave I respect him telling his players first. In a soccer world where there is too little communication, telling the players directly instead of learning of it from rumor mill is commendable. |

Premier & Platinum are just two different levels for ECNL & ECNL-R teams. From highest to lowest: ECNL Platinum ECNL Premier ECNL-R Platinum ECNL-R Premier Some teams are in a location other than Concorde Central (in Brookhaven/Ashford-Dunwoody) but they're all under the Concorde umbrella. |

Well Friday would be the absolute latest time to actually let people know since their pre-tryout camp is the next day, so not exactly timely. Not sure what facelift meant for 08, but with only 1 navy coach returning, looks like most navy teams get a new coach. As for gold.... could get interesting. |

I've been coaching in Atlanta for 20 years, I know just about everyone in the Atlanta soccer community. I can say without a shadow of a doubt Eddie is one of the most stand-up coaches around. He is emotionally invested and cares about his players, not to mention a great coach. Sorry to see him leave NTH but he will do well at CF.

He is emotionally invested and cares about his players, not to mention a great coach. Sorry to see him leave NTH but he will do well at CF. He will do well there for a few years and then he will move on until he finds a Director role. Everything appears to have been a stepping stone toward a bigger goal. |
