All,
TOCA Soccer just opened in West Cobb (Kennesaw) two weeks ago We are an indoor multi sports and performance training facility that focuses on individual and group instruction. The centerpiece of the facility is theTOCA Touch trainer which is a machine that can deliver soccer balls in various ways to allow players to get hundreds of quality touches in a training session.
I have attached a video link of US Women's National Team Forward Christen Press and US Men's National Team and LA Galaxy Forward Gyasi Zardes discussing the benefits of the TOCA Touch Trainer and using it as well.
TOCA Soccer is reaching out to local clubs, high schools and organizations to see how they can enhance what they are doing and fill any needs they may have: camps, individual training for players, indoor space in the event of inclement weather, indoor/futsal leagues or any other soccer related needs.

And someone mentioned last week that the NASA Tophat merger hurt Tophat, which really isnt the case. The top teams still play out of Buckhead, Ted and Troy are still running the program the same way, only difference now is a larger pool of players within the club to choose from.

I know this goes against the Wynalda/Landon for US Soccer President but I would be more in favor of Julie Foudy taking the role. Its not a coaching position or technical director position, its a supervisory/political position and given Julie's background in dealing with some of these issues, player strikes, contract negotiations, etc I think she would be a good choice.

We had a three female ref crew for one of my games a few weeks ago, one of the best crews I've seen in a while. I made an extra effort after the game to tell them so, shook each of their hands and told them to keep up the good work.

The difference between soccer and hockey is cultural, many AUFC supporters are from other countries where soccer is the most popular sport. I'm a STH for Atlanta United and I dont think the support for the team will diminish

I would suspect its due to coaching vs the quality of the players. KB played at TH and is very good, MB played at Holy Innocents and set the school career scoring record. The talent is there but I assume its the coaching/training. Most D1 schools on the girls side recruit athletes and play direct.

Players stop developing at 13/14? To be honest at that level I would say the players are mostly responsible for their own development, its the countless hours spent AWAY from practice that creates players of this level.

Its hard to teach high level of possession and creativity, not saying Jill Ellis isnt capable but the style rarely changes even though she has very good technical players on the team.
