When the league you're trying to get into (NCAA) has less restrictive substitution rules than the league you're in (GDA), you gotta go "hmmm". Well said "atlfutboldad" That might be the most true statement, I have ever seen on this blog. I have often wondered how you get better when games time is limited playing, due to the substitution rules. Then they force Showcases (most have ZERO Coaches in attendance) instead of tournaments to eliminate the concept of winning. * Please don't mention they can't play two games in one day. US Club also does not allow more than one game per day (except when they play outside of NPL, ECNL, SCCL) and they carry that to the player, not even just the team. This prevents the kids from playing on two team in one day too (can't do a younger and an older team or an NPL and a SCCL team). Please tell me what GDA showcases have zero coaches in attendance? I know the spring showcase had plenty. I even heard the Clemson coach chatting with people I know during their daughter's game.

Depending on location we have a number of GK coaches for the girls and boys, I'll be doing some GK training for the girls and will be working with Ted with the Academy Teams this year.

There are not 70 coaches at every showcase across the country every weekend.

The lists of attendees are posted on the website and each team gets an individual list of who goes to their games. If you are talking about a different league, then I can't tell you. I know that ECNL showcases also have a lot of coaches.

Is TG their only coach? 🙄 What made TH so successful was TC imposing a strict curriculum / style of play across all the Academy teams and carrying that style into the older ages. When you watched TH play, it was the same pattern of ball and player movement at each level - Gold, Navy, White - the only difference was athleticism, speed of play, and execution. TG will set the tone and monitor, assistants will deliver the message or not be back. TG is listed as the Head Coach, so he takes the pressure off of the "Assistant DA Coaches". If a parent has a question on why their kid didn't make the team or get enough playing time, then you will need to talk to TG and "not" the assistant Coach. Good luck to everyone who has by JG for a coach.

Boys ECNL Staff 2004 ECNL –Ryan Austin SCCL Staff 2004 SCCL - Bruce Wade SCCL Premier Staff 2004 SCCL 2 - Randy Bowman Classic Staff 2004 premier – Jimmy Priest I was under the impression that Mike C brought a whole 2004 boys team over from CF North to Milton last year. What happened with that coaching assignment ? It seems Milton isn't hosting those boys next year...so did Mike not want to coach those boys, or did he get sucker punched by NTH with the last minute coaching shuffle ?

There’s not a lot of “sucker punching” going on at NTH, which is one reason why it’s growing.
